Your age/partner’s age: 34/36

Baby #: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD10

Ovulation Date: 16-17 Feb 2019

POAS Date: 2 Mar 2019

Usual Cycle Length: 26 (luteal phase = 11)

Cycles Trying: currently 4th

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Everything!

Trying anything new this month? Using a BBT thermometer (2 decimal places) — although I either got a faulty one or it just doesn’t seem to be as good as my 10-second-read, 1-decimal-place old one! It takes forever to measure a temp and sometimes even refuses to! Not very consistent, either.

For fun: What’s your favorite snack? Dry roasted almonds, camembert, smoked salmon… But I have no willpower and these foods always start as a snack, and end up being a full meal. 😛

Anybody else with long cycles? Mine average 33 days and I *think* I ovulate around CD20 but OPKs haven’t been super clear and I’d rather not temp haha! Anybody else with long cycles tend to ovulate around CD20?? Just sounds so late compared to other people!

I’m so happy to be posting on a POAS board again.

Your age/partner’s age: Both 30, hubby will be 31 in march. Maybe I’ll have a nice bday gift for him.

Baby #: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD1

Ovulation Date: Estimated 2/25

POAS Date: 3/10 or 13DPO if I can hold out that long

Usual Cycle Length: 26 days lately

Cycles Trying: This will be #3, but the first after taking a year off after an early MC to move and settle into new jobs.

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Have fun BDing. I’m going to *try* and be relaxed and not force anything. I’ve been charting well over a year. Prenatals of course.

Trying anything new this month? We’ll likely be on vacation during my FW which sounds good in theory but it’s with my siblings. We’re the ones organizing it so I’m hoping we can claim the master bedroom in our rental, we’ll see how things go with family around…

For fun: What’s your favorite snack? Snacking is my jam, I could snack for dinner most days if it was just me. Lately I’ve been digging edamame, just keep some in the freezer and throw it in the microwave, and healthy too!

Hi everyone! I had a BFP on January 26th which turned into a chemical. I joined the Feb. POAS thread, but realized I was getting ahead of myself too much since this cycle I don’t want to start testing until about a week after my missed period (if it happens). AF is due at the very end of this month so that would put my POAS date in early early March. So far my cycle seems to have gotten right back on track so I’m tracking things just to be aware of what my body is doing.

ROLL CALL

Your age/partner’s age: 32/34

Baby #: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: Not sure if I can count this as a regular cycle or not, so I am treating it like any other just in case. I started bleeding from the chemical on Jan 29th, but I just want to get started with tracking to see what my cycle does. Today is CD 13 and in my FW according to Ovia.

Ovulation Date: Not sure. Not testing or temping.

POAS Date: N/A. Will wait until roughly 7 days after my next missed period (due in early March).

Usual Cycle Length: 28 days

Cycles Trying: 2

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Same as last time, which worked out initially – tracking CM, BD every other day during fertile window. See what happens. Taking Prenatals and also Iron that my OB/Gyn prescribed bc my iron count is really low after the chemical in January.

Trying anything new this month? Iron supplements.

For fun: What’s your favorite snack?  I love a good charcuterie board! Cured meats, cheese, pickles, some good bread – the whole 9 yards!

mommadreams :  I’m so sorry you’re feeling discouraged. Fingers crossed this is your month! More than a few times I’ve seen the one who started the board have an extra lucky month 🙂

beadingandpearls1 :  I can’t believe I was able to wait until AF showed up to post here, but as soon as the board’s up it can’t be too early, right? Good luck for your first cycle, hope it’s a quick and easy journey for you! I’ve O’d as early as CD11 but as late as CD23 or something (I was traveling that cycle so I wasn’t too surprised). It really can vary a lot, even for one person.

happynuts :  hope you don’t mind if I friend you on FF. Finding a good BBT can be challenging! I like the one I have from amazon, however it does take a while and doesn’t light up.

lilysmomjoburg :  good luck on your first cycle back to it! How old is your first child?

mrslauralou :  hope it’s a short journey 🙂

RThorn :  that’s too bad about the CP, hope you’re doing okay. On the bright side it shows that your body (and your partners input) can at least start the process! Good reason to be hopeful. It’s totally annoying to have AF due at the very end of the month but want to wait before testing…here’s hoping no more rollovers for you!
