Current Cycle Day/DPO: Currently waiting for my period to start. Should be here by Wednesday!

Hey everyone.  I just had a loss/D&C so I don’t know when i’ll ovulate but I’m guessing I’ll be testing sometime in March!

Your age/partners age: 28/29

Baby #2

Current cycle day; CD7

Ovulation date: Unsure but I’m going to start temping tomorrow and using opk

POAS date:Unsure

Cycles trying: 1st post mc

BFP Plan: Lots of sex. LOTS, Preseed, temping and opk.  OPK do not work great for me, though because I get multiple surges.  So mainly focusing on a lot of BD

Trying anything new this month? nope

Link to chart: I am going to chart starting tomorrow so nothing to show yet

For fun: Playing outside before it gets too hot in GA

jaybear :  If you’ve had trouble in the past with OPKs, charting will REALLY help.  There’s something really satisfying in knowing for sure what day you ovulated.

Welcome to the board, and I’m so sorry for your loss – hopefully you ovulate soon, and March will bring you luck! <3

krm1984 :  Thank you! I charted with my first and I loved seeing the interworkings of my cycle.  Now, my toddler mostly sleeps through the night but maybe 1-2 times a week wakes up chatting and I forget to temp so then it’s all thrown off.  I think I’m going to set my alarm to 5 am, temp and go back to sleep!

bjenmomma :  Thank you! Did you have your blood drawn to track hcg or did you use a pregnancy test?  I’m hoping I’m able to test in March because I’m feeling antsy and ready but it could be April. I’ll update asap!

jaybear :  That’s exactly what I do!  We get up at 5am most days to hit the gym, but I leave my alarm for that time every day so that temping stays consistent, and then just go back to sleep.  It’s worked well so far!

Thanks for getting this started!

ROLL CALL

Your age/partner’s age: 35/37

Baby #: 2

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 8

Ovulation Date: Feb 18th

POAS Date: You can put me down for March 1 (but it may be as early as Feb 28-29) and March 28 since I’ll be POAS twice in March.

Usual Cycle Length: 27-30 days

Cycles Trying: Lucky #5 (took 5 to conceive our 1st), and #6 if we end up POAS at end of March as well.

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): prenatals, charting, OPKs, timing – trying to hit every day in the few days leading up to and including O.

Trying anything new this month? CoQ10, which I was taking when I conceived my 1st. I also started fertility acupuncture 2x/week leading up to O. I have a couple physicals booked with my GP now that we’re at cycle 5. The 2nd physical is right around our 6 month mark so hopefully we can get a referral if we haven’t gotten a BFP by then.

For fun: What’s your favourite early spring activity? Hosting my daughter’s birthday party. I was on the fence about whether I’d do another party this year, especially since I was already so focused on planning for our vacation next week, but it’s a great excuse to see all our friends after hibernating all winter so we’re holding a party for her at our house.
