I use MyFitnessPal to stay on track.  I’m about to start up-ing it, though!  My goal is to at least maintain through the holidays.  Like you, I don’t have much to lose, but I’ve got some areas that need some real toning.

I just started working out 2-3 times a week. I don’t have any weight to lose, but would like to tone up my arms a bit.

I am on a weights program 5 days a week. I hate cardio so I do a weights session then 20 mins cycling or walking for cardio.  Havent been very good this week because of work so must make myself go tonight – will have to catch up on Monday and Tuesdays exercises argh!! 

My biggest problem is my diet. I LOVE food. I generally eat well.. I just eat way too much. 

Am trying to cut out carbs and drinks more water.. hopefully that will be enough. I want to lose around 8 kgs / 17 – 18 lbs.

It’s not so much that I’m trying to lose weight just for the wedding, I’m trying to lose the weight that I have gained since I got measured for my dress :-(.  I also had surgery this last month, so needless to say, I ate terribly and was not able to exercise at ALL.

I’m trying though!  I’m just taking the approach of if I can do it, I’ll do what I can 🙂

Freaking out a little bit – I have my dress fitting on Sunday and just got on the scale and gained almost 8 pounds since buying my dress (last March) which fit pretty perfect around my waist.  Do you think it is going to be an issue with my fitting?  Have a feeling I am going to have to stop at moms house tomorrow and try on the dress to double check before the fitting on Sunday so there aren’t any surprises.

I’m going to have to go as I am.  I got pregnant last year (like technically in March of that year, but it wasn’t until April when I was far enough along for a BFP). For economical reasons, we opted to wait until after the baby was born (born two weeks before Christmas) to get married.It wasn’t until January when we set the date for the 16th of this month. (It’s kind of important that we get married soon for reasons I’m not going to go into here.)

Anyway, when I was pregnant that of course meant gaining weight/adding extra calories. Over the course of the pregnancy, I gradually went from 120 something to 172 the day of my induction.  After giving birth, nearly every scale I have stepped on (at home, the doctor’s office, etc.) has shown me either at 150 pounds or just barely below. The combination of cold weather and having a baby at home who’d require constant attention from Mom has discourage me from burning it off. (At least if it were warmer and I had access to a stroller, which I currently don’t, kiddo and I could go for some walks.) And dieting is not an option either since I mostly breastfeed (which is WAY more conducive to my household’s financial situation than constanly using formula) and need to keep my calories up.

I might be going dress shopping either this week or next week. (A “regular” dress, and not necessarily white unless I find one I REALLY like since well I have a kid already and it’s common knowledge how those things happen.) I’m hoping to fit into something in my regular pre-pregnancy clothing size (8/10 depending on how the item in question is made) or as close to that as possible.
