We sent out 55 invites for a total of 87 people. They had an RSVP return request of Jan. 24. We’ve gotten 48 of them back so far, with a response of 61 yes’s/18 no’s. I’m in touch with almost all of the missing offendors by phone/Facebook and most of them are just waiting on a few final travel details to make a final confirmation.
Based on that response, we sent out 4 more invites (for 6 people) last Wednesday, with an RSVP by date of Feb. 7. We haven’t heard anyhing from any of them yet.

I sent our invitations out a week and a half ago and have gotten two out of 62 back – both yeses. One was handed to me! I was like, ‘you totally made me waste 28 cents!’ I wouldn’t normally care, but my invites ended up taking way longer and costing way more than I anticipated! They are due March 1st.

I think today I decided that most of the people that havne’t answered me aren’t going to before the deadline. I want to send out a few other invites but am not sure how to do the RSVP date since I can’t use the post cards that I did for everyone else. HMMMM

We are having a small wedding. We sent out Save The Dates in October then we sent out our invitations on January 2nd with a due date of February 1st. We sent out 60 invitations (74 people) and have received 59 RSVPs.
65 people have RSVPd yes
8 people have RSVPd no
On January 28th I started texting people who hadn’t responded and that seemed to help. We were surprised that almost everyone said yes. Some people told us that the Save The Dates really helped.

ours were due to us yesterday, and we only have 4 phone calls to make. I put something on facebook about a week ago as a “gentle” reminder to people that they were due, and we got a lot of responses right after that! We invited 158 and 125 are coming, which I am more than ok with because 158 felt HUGE to me.

I had similar problems with my RSVP’s. On the due date (Jan. 15th), I still needed to hear from 80 out of 205 guests!! That’s including counting in some people I knew were coming, so it technically was more like I needed to hear from 90 people. Rediculous.
How difficult is it really to figure out your schedule, check yes or no, and drop it in the mail box? Really? So… ya, I had to track down all those guests. It just seemed like such a waste to me too. Most of my guests said they “forgot” or “lost track of time.” And, admittedly, I had a 6 week out RSVP date instead of the traditional month, and I did send them over the holidays, so I probably brought it on myself…. but still.

I have 26 confirmed guest and the R.S.V.P date is Feb 14th. We invited 146 guest. The waiting game gets frustrating at times! lol

We have 16 confirmed guests with an RSVP date of 2/20, invited 132. It’s funny when you have RSVPs from people on the other coast already and some you’re missing from people in-state!

we officially hit the 100 mark this week.
so… half of them 2 days before the rsvp is “due” on the 12th. I’m kind of amazed that I put the stamp on the freaking envelope and people still haven’t sent them back. It’s like no one gets that their rsvp effects us monitarily. I DIY’d our invites, but dang are stamps expensive.

I asked for the cards back by Feb 19th. As of yesterday I’ve received TWO back. Yes, TWO. We had a total of fifty-something with 21 households.
We’ve received a few verbal “yes, we’re coming” but from people who have told us yes all along anyway, and I have emailed some who have declined in email. I have begged for the cards back. One thing I have told folks is that I want the cards for a scrapbook and that seems to motivate them more than any other reason!! Even though those people still haven’t sent them back they now seem more willing to do so. ugh. I am more stressed at this point though about those who still don’t know, can’t decide, and want to tell me “later”. I mean, the others who haven’t sent the cards back but at least told me yes or no are helping me somewhat. The “I don’t know yet” people are causing me stress! Especially since one of those includes a family of four. So it’s not just plus or minus one person as a possibility, you know?

@Nola: We are wedding day twins!
We have gotten 90 YESs and 5 NOs so far. I was expecting more nos, actually… but still waiting on several.

Final numbers: 78 no, 77 yes. I guessed we’d have 75 yeses, so that’s pretty darn close! Woohooo!

We invited about 85 people and our total guest count is 62, plus we’re feeding the photographer and videographer. We were shooting for a small intimate wedding for about 60 people or less, so I think we’ve accomplished that!
