@fireusagi: EEeeeee! Congrats! I hope this is a healthy one for you!

Got my bloodwork back and all all is good so we are good to go. Quite a relief. Now just twiddling thumbs to see what happens. No signs towards O yet though. Hmp.

So I had a BFN on Monday and my period started early yesterday on CD25 so I’m roll calling again this month because I get a 2nd chance. Was considering skipping this month because this potential baby would be due the same week as my daughter. But with our ages I don’t want to waste any time.

ROLL CALL

Your age/partner’s age: 40/40

Baby #: 2

Current cycle day/DPO: CD2

Ovulation date: March 14

POAS date: March 27/12DPO

Usual cycle length: 28/29 days (was 25 this cycle but I blame my new supplements and post- D&C cycle weirdness

Cycles trying: This is 7 but 3rd post D&C

BFP plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements etc.): Skipping charting this month, too stressful, so just prenatals with C0q10, timing and OPKs

Trying anything new this month? Nope!

For fun – with Spring just around the corner (in the Northern Hemisphere at least!) what are you most looking forward to about the soon-to-be warmer weather? Hopefully getting to hang with our friends again!

@BellaBeau:  fx! I hope your timing works out. I hear you about being tired and trying to BD. it’s tough! For some reason, I feel super fatigued during fertile week (?), so husband and I have to work ourselves up to BD’ing sometimes.

AFM, I’m on CD14, had a ton of EWCM, and got the first positive OPK this cycle, so we quickly BD’d today.

For those who have tried preseed before, do you know how long it lasts inside you? I did wonder for a sec if the EWCM I’m seeing was actually last night’s preseed (sorry maybe tmi).

How’s everyone else doing?

@frostedforks:  cd14 here too, cycle buddies! We dtd for the last three days and probably again tonight so I feel like we’re covered.

We’re both dealing with feelings of ambiguity over ttc. We have a two year old and it’s been very tough during lockdown (pretty much 12 months and counting over here) so I feel like that’s skewing our perception of how having another baby would be. Once we can get out, see people and do things it will be different. But while I’m stuck at home 24/7 with a fussy toddler and he’s out all day at work, it’s hard to imagine adding a newborn to the mix. We know we don’t want him to be an only child so it really feels like an obligation right now to have another baby, but feelings probably will change after lockdown lifts (in JUNE, a full 15 months of lockdown!!). Anyway, I guess it’s a triumph of hope over current experience, which is always a leap!

@fireusagi:  congratulations!! I really hope this is your sticky bean!

I think I’m probably out this cycle. BFN at 12 DPO. Feeling completely defeated at this point. We had great timing and I had an HSG at the beginning of the month that I was hoping may have helped clear any minor blockages. And yet I’m still here with the same result. At this point, we’re just trying to decide when to move on to fertility treatments though we both have very mixed feelings about that road and keep hoping it’ll happen naturally again.

Wishing all the rest of you bees BFPs this month! Will pop back on if AF doesn’t show up on Monday but I’m not banking on that.

@BellaBeau:  Thanks, heres hoping the luck continues. Maybe try and get a BD on Friday in?

@frostedforks:  I used preseed, and nope it was pretty much gone the next day, and there really was a difference I noticed from ewcm and preseend. (ewcm left marks on the underwear, while preseed didnt)

@SweetCaroline89:  Thank you! Me too. Not out till AF shows, heres hoping.

@fireusagi:  thanks! That’s helpful. Pretty sure it was a heavy amount of ewcm then, especially because I got a dye stealer opk today and then ovulation pain. Mine is in the lower back/hips, often on one side, and lasts quite a few hours. It is rly a cruel joke that I, and some other women, get bad ovulation pain and then a few weeks later get menstrual pain. Oh well!

@marriedbliss:  Ugh I hear you. Covid, quarantine, and TTC is so draining. We’re in a similar boat. Hang in there! I don’t have a little one, so I can’t imagine how much more challenging that is to balance everything. I hope you can find some respite!
