Hey ladies. Hopefully this doesn’t come off as a threadjack, I just thought maybe some of you could help me- as this would change my POAS date. This is my first cycle trying and I’m charting and using OPK’s…

The day I ovulated (according to my chart) I had +ve OPKs with lines that were the same (not darker)

TODAY (I know..I shouldn’t have tested) on my OPK the test line was a tad darker!? And i’d be 2DPO. Is this typical? Or have I not ovulated yet?

Here’s my chart for reference (only the temps/CM are accurate since I use a paper chart primarily..sorry I’m not the best at keeping up with every detail on this just yet):

Thank you ladies for all the birthday wish’s.

Not to many people in my life remembered I was alive, but I felt great to see so many strangers take the time to wish me a happy bday.

I’m currently CD32 and waiting. I plan on poas on fri morning if AF hasn’t shown up, but I truly think she will. I’ve been a horrible bag of emotions this month. I normally don’t PMS bad, but since getting off Bridal Party I’ve been a monster. Being forgotten about didn’t help the situation much either.

Wishing you all the best of luck.

@ScottishMrs:  Sat night was good! DH took me out to dinner and then we went to the casino and played the slots. We lost lol, but didn’t spend to much.

I’ve been having a tone of symptoms, but trying not to get to worked up over it. I keep saying things like well Blank could mean i’m pregnant but it can also just be because of getting off of bc.

Question for you ladies? Did any of you find that sex after ovulation was painfull? I’ve never had a issue with sex hurting, but after the last BD with DH I was hurting pretty bad. It didn’t last long, but I was a little startled by it.

Roll Call:

Current Cycle Day: CD  10

Ovulation Date: I normally O around CD 20, but this month I’m taking all sorts of vitamins and supplements that I’m hoping might move it up a little bit.

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Not sure yet because it depends on when I O, but my normal cycle length is 28 days

Cycles trying: #9

BD timing: Will try for EOD, but will definitely do every day for a few days once I get a smiley face on my OPK

Link to Chart, if any:  no chart, although if I’m not successful this month, I see temping and charting in my future.

@ScottishMrs:  Nope, first time charting. Guess I’ll wait and see if my temps keeps rising, but that was the only day with EWCM so I’m stumped..

@MissLunchbox:  I don’t know anything about how to read the temps but I know sometimes your body can gear up to O and not release the egg for whatever reason, and then it will try again immediately, so you’ll have a second lh surge. But I’m not sure if that’s what is happening…maybe in a few days your chart will become more clear?

@BelleriverBride:  What kind of pain? Like soreness afterwards? Or pain during? abdominal cramping?  Pain could be from the drying up of cm and not enough lubrication maybe?

@esqbee:  Pain during , and it hurt like hell.  I know CM changes during the luteal phase after ovulation, but is it the same consistancy if you are pregnant?

I’m such a newbee when it come to this stuff. My sisters had two kids and barely even tried. I don’t think she was on BC like I was though.

@ScottishMrs:  FX that you’re right. Thanks so much for the insight!

I don’t know how ladies can do this for months/years. It’s only my first cycle and just feeling that this is out of my control is such a vulnerable feeling. I hope this month is full of BFPs for all of these lovely bees. I’m so glad to finally join the POAS threads 🙂
