@GreenDream:  I’m not sure, to be honest. I am just going off of all the posts I’ve seen while stalking around here that say FMU is best or urine after a 4hr hold (preferably with minimal intake so that it doesn’t get diluted). But there is NO WAY I can hold my pee that long… I can barely make it past 2.5 hours.

And the past 2-3 days I feel like I have to pee hourly! I have a wee little bladder. Embarassed

@redhead46:  I’m pretty much in the same situation (2nd cycle off BCP after being on it a long time) and my body is doing way more than it did on BCP.  One thing is I think we’re so much more in tune to any change from our baseline right now so we notice every. little. thing.  Two so many things can be a pregnancy symptom for one person but a normal PMS symptom for someone else.  I also think you’re right about not knowing what’s normal off BCP.  Last cycle I had a ton of stuff that wasn’t normal for me before throughout the cycle but after charting two cycles, I’m starting to see what might be patterns (or maybe my body just going a little hyper as it adjusts).  Ddefinitely not in your head, though.

@GreenDream:  I’m not sure about SMU vs FMU but with my last pregnancy, I tested with FMU two days before AF was due and got a BFN. I tested again later in the evening after a 3 hour hold and got a very faint BFP.

My first BFP wasn’t with FMU either…I got a BFP in the middle of the afternoon but that time AF was already late.

I’m so terrible, I can’t even take my own advice! Last night I dreamt that I POAS and got a BFN… so I caved and took a test just now….

Holy moly, that’s a line, right???? I’m going to test again tomorrow just to make sure because part of me is convinced I did it wrong. I mean, pee on the stick for at least, but no more than, 5 seconds??? That’s a lot of pressure first thing in the morning when I’m still groggy!

@bijou214:  THat is a line!!!!!!!! Congrats mama! I peed on MULTIPLE sticks when I got my BFP. Test with a pink dye one if you want to be absolutely sure. Apparently they are better than the blue…BUT if you ask me you are KU!

Okay ladies, I was feeling really hopeful for this cycle, but now…well not so much. Which is really disappointing as it put us on the track for a lot of cool things (like telling Darling Husband on his birthday or our anniversary, telling our mother’s on Mother’s Day, announcing the gender of the baby at my family reunion this summer, and a Thanksgiving baby which would have been awesome too). I know that all those things will happen in their own awesome way when it happens, but after 10 cycles, I’m just really starting to get down about seeing those BFN’s, especially after our loss in June. Has anyone else hit a slump like this before? What helped?

@doily:  I feel this exact way right now. I was so hopeful for this month. I braved bronchitus to DTD and thought we timed it ok. My temps still up but when I checked CM I had specs of blood. I think I’m out. I cried last night watching a show that had a little boy hugging his dog. UGH. Darling Husband came down with the dreaded norovirus this weekend so I can’t even snuggle and feel better with him. Sigh. We have to stop TTC for now because I don’t know if I’ll have health insurance next year. I’ve been trying to do gardening and house work (scrubed the place with bleach due to Darling Husband being so sick). It atleast has kept my mind off things. I guess thats the only thing that really seems to help me. 🙁

@lovemygsp:  Alas, I already cleaned my house and did all my laundry yesterday. I know that we are not totally out until AF comes, but I really do feel that sometimes women can just tell and I’m having one of those moments. I hope we are wrong though, and we both get those BFP’s that we have been wanting. That sucks that Darling Husband is feeling so crummy, 🙁 I had that norovirus earlier in the winter, it’s no joke at all! I’m sorry that you have to put the TTC on hiatus too 🙁 No bueno. FX for you dear, I hope you get that second line!
