wyoteacher: thank you for your kind reassurance, I really needed the encouragement and it’s hard because I’m not telling anyone I’m TTC and DH doesn’t want to hear it. I am new to the “bee” but I can see why folks come here <3

I’m excited, tommorow I’ll POAS for the first time! The first 3 months, AF showed up before I even thought about it. I’m trying to keep my hopes down cause I have the flu and it’s probably the reason AF is 5 days late, but I’m kind of nervous anyway. I’ll let you know the verdict tomorrow and see if I suscribe to the april POAS board!

I was due to ovulate either today or tomorrow. I never got a surge. It seems like yesterday it was slighly darker than other days, but all of these are negative. this included today ( 21) ive also had EGWM for 4 days….. these are my OPK results..almost exactly the same as last month :( and got a BFN last month. ugh, am i not ovulating? something wrong with me????

yellow7404: I get a similar result on the OPKs – not quite positive but then fading again after. I usually count the “not quite” as +ve and jump DH anyway, usually temping confirms I do O around the time it darkens so I’m ok with that… Do you temp as well?

I just assume I miss the surge part of the day but I can’t test all day just to find it 🙂 Once you know how the OPKs look for you just go with it…

No I’ve never been pregnant but so far all tests come back ok and I do appear to ovulate so the OPKs not being dark enough don’t necessarily indicate an anovulatory cycle.

Black_bird: I was the same last month! Didn’t even get a chance to POAS As AF came so early. But this month I’m late too! And this morning I got a squuuuuuuiiiiiinter after an hour on an internet cheap stick! Even DH could see it! I’m o/s currently so I’m going to buy a FRER when I get back home to australia tomorrow And try again. Fingers crossed for us both!!

SpringDaisy5: that is totally a line! Yay! Hope to see you on the November boards soon. It’s so hard to believe that the line is real, even when you’ve been planning it.

Truffle-hunter: fx! So exciting!

yellow7404: ok I suggest you keep testing; you quite probably have not had your surge yet. I normally o at CD17 but this cycle it was at CD20. How many cycles have you tracked And have you been on birth control recently?

yellow7404: I was replying to SpringDaisy5 🙂 I’m no use when it comes to OPKs, but there are a lot of bees here with plenty of knowledge on them, so I hope they can help. I can imagine how frustrating it can be there, to wonder if you are ovulating. I had my doubts too (especially as I’d just gone off the pill). All I wanted was to properly ovulate, so then I could at least have a shot at getting KU. Good luck with the testing!

winerygirl: thanks, hun. I just emailed my mum with the info. She’s a midwife and was like ‘do not get excited, but sounds promising’. She’s right, I’m not nearly out of the woods yet!
