@phoebephoebo: FX your good timing pays off! Did your friend get back to you yet on the cough medicine? I have been persevering, with that and the EPO, but not seeing much in the way of CM. Just general dampness :/

Fiance took my suggestion pretty well, actually! Although he’s totally right that we don’t need to be worrying about SA – home or otherwise – for a while. Hopefully not at all…

Nope, no witnesses – we are ‘self-solemnising’! It was such an awesome moment when I found out that existed (courtesy of a fellow bee) and even better when I realised we could coincide it with skiing and/or hiking πŸ™‚

My weekend felt largely unproductive (at least by the standards I set for myself) BUT…*drum roll*….today I hired a cleaner!! I have waited so long for this day; Fiance finally caved, yay! Only once a fortnight for a couple of hours but our house is pretty small and I’m hoping it will make all the difference.

Another positive today was my OPK test…I thhink, anyways. I wish I’d taken a photo to share with you ladies for more opinions, as it’s now pretty faded. But, yesterday I had almost no second line at all (the squintiest of squinters) and today there it was, bright and bold although ever so slightly lighter than the control. Either way, Fiance is getting jumped tonight! But I wasn’t expecting to O until something like 26th, and even FF had my earliest date as 21st. Unless I am having a weirdly short cycle this month OR it turns out I have an insanely long LP, in which case I need to see someone…! I am gonna keep OPK’ing as this seems unlikely to be the real deal. Any insights?!

@whybee:  yes, I do. I’ve been hiding out trying to avoid thinking about it. I’ve been referred to a Specialist for a laparoscopy to check for endometriosis and blocked Fallopian tubes. πŸ™ no bubba for us. (I was pleasantly surprised to see how disappointed Fiance was, I know that sounds terrible, but it’s nice knowing we’re definitely in this together).  Only issue I’m having is the cost of this operation- $3000-$5000!!!! we just dont have that kind of money laying around.

@whybee:  Have fun tonight! Sorry I don’t have any insight on the OPK’s.. I’ve never used those..  Congrats on hiring a cleaner, but I have to ask – what’s a fortnight? Is that like every other night? Or the weekend? Or…??

@AlmostMrsShield:  Insurance won’t cover part of that? Ugh.. I’m sorry you’re going through this.. πŸ™  But if the surgery is just to check for those things, isn’t it possible that there’s still some hope?

@E_Lynne615:  definitely still some hope! πŸ™‚ and I’m clinging to it! I got an *almost* positive opk on Monday, and a negative yesterday, so I’m thinking I ovulated yesterday. Which is great, because as previously mentioned, we’ve been on a sex spree the last two weeks! Lol. Medicare (public health system) will cover a few hundred, but that’s all. I’m looking into private insurance, but even then, it’s a $50. Excess, plus whatever the gap is, on top of monthly payments. I’m just trying to figure out what the best option is.

@mrstea83:  Woohoo! Looks like you’ll have great timing!

I’m hoping to O soon too! πŸ™‚  Have to be sure to catch DH tonight when he gets home – he’s a coach, so he’s often gone really late during the week… It’s CD14 for me and my temp has dropped the last couple days and I’ve had some twinges/pinches here and there, so I’m hoping that O is on its way! Usually comes around CD17…  it’s go time! πŸ™‚

@phoebephoebo:  unfortunately we can’t get back into the swing of everything quite yet as DH has a SA in a few days so we have to abstain. Boo! I’m turning into a crazy woman here hehe. At least we will be good to go around CD9-10 after the sample on Friday so it’s not gonna interrupt our SMEP plan πŸ™‚

I finally picked up some work for the next 2 days and all of next week so I can finally stop being a Stay-At-Home Wife – must admit I am not cut out for it because I prefer being able to support myself – I hope I get over that when we get KU because we both want me to be a Stay-At-Home Mom at least for the first couple of years. I guess we’ll see… Least it’ll keep me busy. As it is I have been cleaning the house to within an inch of its life just to keep busy (and try stay off the Bee) and not think about TTC all the time hehe

Cant believe Feb is already 3/4 of the way thru (nearly) insane after January was soooooo slow now it feels like time has sped up to warp speed – crazy!!!

@mrstea83:  sweet!

No positive on the OPK for me just yet. I tried to get some BD in last night but it’s rough the days I don’t get home till close to 10 and DH had to be up around 5. That man is going to be kept busy starting tomorrow into next week though πŸ˜‰

If we get lucky and get that BFP it is going to be SO hard for us not to announce it to our friends at his 30th birthday next month!

well turns out i am going to try mucinex this month since i have some in the house. and figure, why not.  it can’t hurt to try something new.

i woke up with a terrible cold yesterday, just in time for my FW to start.  so i took some yesterday and today.  i should O on saturday.

what a bitch.  i was feeling really awful last night and DH thought it was a night we were supposed to BD.  i told him no it was tomorrow night, but if i’m not feeling any better i may just have to lie there and let him do his thing.  (i was half joking) DH responded that he would do what ever it takes to get me knocked up.  that’s the spirit.

@ShellVee:  I know, I can’t believe February is almost over!!

@ajillity81:  Good luck with the mucinex! Let us know if you notice any changes!  I’m in a love/hate relationship with charting and knowing potentially when I should O…. on the one hand, it’s great to know when FW should be, but on the other hand, I hate feeling the pressure of when we are “supposed to” BD during FW…

We should have BD last night in order to get an EOD pattern, but DH didn’t get home until really late – we tried, but he just couldn’t make it happen because he was so exhausted.. πŸ™  I know he felt really bad, and I hate that he is feeling that way.. He made some comment this morning about our future children and I said “well we have to make one first!” – I just meant it in a joking way, but I think he took it as a jab about last night… πŸ™

Anyway, it’d CD15 today, and FF predicts O on CD17.. so I want to try to BDED until those crosshairs show up!
