@AlmostMrsShield: I’m sorry πŸ™ But as you say, nice to discover that your Fiance is more invested in things than you thought – I’m sure there’s nothing you won’t be able to overcome as a team. I’m not exactly sure what Australian dollars work out as, but do you have family who could maybe help you out? Or perhaps a loan is an option? IMO it would be worth it to get some answers…

@E_Lynne615:  A fortnight is two weeks πŸ™‚ I know what you mean about it being a mixed blessing to be tracking your cycle. I feel bad if I think we *should* be BD’ing and don’t…but it does start to take some of the magic away! Not to mention life getting in the way…

@mrstea83:  What a strong positive! Keep at it! πŸ˜‰

@ajillity81:  I don’t know if it’s the Mucinex or the EPO (or neither!) but I spotted EWCM today for the first time! So excited in the loo at work lol, I nearly did a little dance πŸ™‚ Although I’ve no idea where I am in my cycle… Gonna have to try my luck again tonight with Fiance I think!

So, with what I think was a +OPK yesterday, and the wonderful appearance of EWCM today, is it possible that I’ve just got a freakishly long LP? I’ve tried googling, but can only find stuff about short ones being a problem (and long ones being apparently impossible)!

Roll call!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 11

Ovulation Date:  I’m not even going to pretend to guess

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: going with March 22  as my POAS date/ it seems my cycles are about 40 days.

Cycles Trying: 4 cycle (5 months)

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements,  etc.): back to OPKs this month, prenatals.

Link to Chart, if any:  None

Overall, this will be my 4th cycle but it feels like so much longer. Back in february 2013 i got blood work done and i was missing some needed shots which took months after i got them before i could begin TTC. then i went off the pill and got all messed up for a few months. Last month i tried to BD EOD and didnt miss a day at all, and no luck! I put my POAS date for March 22, but i also have a gyno appointment this month a week prior, just for my annual check up, so we’ll see what happens there.

@whybee:  I think it’s about 80c to every us dollar. But either way, it’s worth the investment. We will have to try and get a loan, just a bit concerned that will be difficult because we already have 2 cars were in the process of paying off. Unfortunately family don’t have any money to help us out with. We’ll be fine, even if we use some of our wishing well money from the wedding to help us out

@ShellVee:  Thanks! It’s the first one I’ve seen that was without a doubt positive, so I was doing a happy dance around the living room, lol.

I would love to join, but knowing my looong cycles, it would probably be safe to POAS in April. Best of luck to all POASers, and I have my FX for all of you Wink

So I decided to try temping and I’m finding it really confusing.

I’ve had erratic sleep the last few weeks, so some days i was temping at 3am some days at 6:30am.  I had no idea it would make my temping so useless.  I had a positve OPK on sunday, but FF still hasn’t given me any indication of ovulation.  Will it? or should i switch it to opk, not advanced detector?

here’s a link to my chart:

I haven’t been too active on these boards, since I’ve been trying not to think about the whole thing while waiting to O, but I just got a flashing smiley face on one of those electronic Clear Blue OPKs! Had a negative yesterday, but got a positive-ish with FMU this morning. So excited! Though, honestly, it just feels nice to POAS and see some kind of result besides a BFN.

3dpo today and I promised myself I wouldn’t symptom spot and I’d take a break from the bee this cycle but I can’t help myself! I love reading updates from all of you.  This will be a long two weeks but at least I have all of you here with me! Makes the waiting game a little easier πŸ™‚ so thanks for being so fab ladies!

@banana330:  Your temp on the 12th is an open circle and really high, so if that one’s wrong, it could really be throwing off your pattern and be the reason why FF hasn’t given you crosshairs. Temping at different times would be the reason that your temps are all over the place and not corresponding to your OPK. Another reason could be sleeping with your mouth open (if you temp orally)..  If you exclude/discard that temp on the 12th, FF might give you crosshairs for the 13th, that’s the only possibility that I see… Give it a few more days of consistent timing on your temping and see what happens..

On the other hand, my temps jump around a lot too – but I usually see a clear shift once O has happened and I’ve had a few temps afterwards.. here’s my chart – haven’t O’d yet..  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ELynne615

@E_Lynne615:  you were right! I discarded my high temp ( I had been out celebrating a friends birthday the night before) and it made monday my O day.  So 3 DPO and the waiting begins.  Thanks!

I have a question – so, as I just posted a bit ago, I just got a positive OPK this morning, and told my husband, in the vaguest possible terms, that we’d need to “ramp things up” this week. Obviously, he’s on board with TTC, but he’s very cagey about knowing anything about the “details.” He hasn’t said that it’s because he feels pressure or anything like that, but I’d assume that’s part of it. So he was sort of annoyed that I told him that, and I was sort of annoyed that he was annoyed, and here we are. In retrospect, I probably should have just shared on the Bee and kept it to myself. Is anyone else dealing with a DH who just wants to be left in the dark and pleasantly “surprised” by a BFP when you’re doing all the behind-the-scenes legwork?

@banana330:  You bet! I typically discard temps when I’m sick or if I’ve been out drinking the night before… Good luck!

@museologiste:  I really thought my DH would be that way, but he has been asking lots of questions and wanting to know what’s going on… but I have heard bees say that their SO thinks that it takes some of the ‘sexy’ out of sexy time with the added pressure..
