I am marrying my marine on Halloween 2012. He is currently deployed but we have been together almost two years. He won’t be wearing his blues. I LOVE them but he is uncomfortable in them and doesn’t like them so we’re going with a tux and the vest in a fun green color and bow tie. (He won’t wear his blues BUT he chose the bowtie!! what a weirdo…) haha 🙂

Married the Marine Corps 2 months ago today.  He mobilized for his deployment to Afghanistan 5 weeks after we got married.  We’re also Jewish, so we had a Jewish Marine Corps wedding – he had a hand made EGA on his kippah and we had woodland digi cami kippot for our guests…our cake had an EGA and dog tags on it, and we had a sword arch.  He wouldn’t have worn anything but his blues – he earned them!

Im so glad i stayed up late tonight to look up wedding stuff!

I am engaged to a marine:) he’s needs to get home to help me plan, the colors are making me go crazy lol

I love all the pictures everyones posted and you all have wonderful advice!

I also have not seen my marine in his dress blues in person. Only in pictures:(

Hey girls!

My fiance is taking his oath into the Marines on Wednesday, and he will go to bootcamp in January. I’m not officially a “Marine bride” yet, but I’m on my way 🙂 We’ve been together for 4 years and this decision has been a work in progress from day 1. I am soooo proud of him for finally making the decision to follow his dreams.

I know it looks like I’m holding my phone but I’m holding my gloves so he could put on the ring. He hired a photographer to capture the moment. He’s a newly commissioned Officer so we have 4 more years in the Corps.

I know this is an old thread, but I’m posting anyway 🙂 I’m marrying a marine in a year and 8 months..he’s wearing his blues, it’ll be im his grandparents’ beautiful garden, and our colors are navy blue and gold with a touch of red and white 🙂
