@alexandmike2012:

Hi Brides! This dress is Marisa style #890. I wore it for my wedding this past June and its STUNNING! Just make sure you have someone who understands Organza to bustle it for you…

@GrayBee:

OH MY GOD!! This is the dress Ive searching for! Im in love. Im wondering if the dress style numbers change from state to state or Bridal salons… I know some bridal salons make up there on style numbers in order to keep it exclusive.  Any help and information would help.

I just had my FIRST fitting in my Marisa 815!!!  My wedding is in Novemeber and I think I may be too late in ordering a beaded sash?  Does the 815 need a sash?  What did you ladies wear and is anyone willing to sell their sash??

Thank you!!

@Lisamariehenry:

Hey! I wore a sash with my dress… when I tried on the 815 I also tried it on with a sash…. so for me, I HAD to have a sash. I had mine custom made at MJ designs in NYC. I def recommend them… they are awesome and it only took 4 days to make my sash. I would also look on etsy.com for a sash. They are also hand made there and run a lot cheaper than designer ones and the quality is the same.

I wore the Marisa 737 (with some tweaks–deeper sweetheart than original, added beading, belt, and removable bolero straps). I tried on nearly 100 before I found this lovely dress. The Marisa dress just flattered my shape more than any others. I think it’s recently been discontinued…

Can you actually get a hold of these dresses online? Internationally? I was looking at the 865, And that is a dress that has been having everything I am looking for so far.

Is it slim a-line or meimaid? Can’t determine, but I love the design and the lace.

Does anyone know what the number is for this dress? The picture doesn’t do it any justice, it has a few subtle pick ups and a lace bodice.

@Elolith:

I would say the 865 is a modified slim A-line rather than mermaid.  It does trumpet out at the botom but it’s not that slim in the hips/thighs.

Several brick and mortar US bridal salons who have online stores do legitimately sell Marisa.  I ordered my 865 from netbride.com, which has a real store in Minnesota.  Pearl’s Place in Louisiana also sells them.  there was another store in north or south caroiina I also got a quote from but I can’t remember the name and it had some not as good BBB ratings.   Netbride and Pearls Place both have good BBB ratings. They each have price matching, so I was able to go back and forth a few times and get an even better deal.  AND, no sales tax when you order out of state!

Here I am in my Marisa 865!  I love it, and my seamstress was a wizard.
