@RVArtist: I think that’s the one that I tried on too – just posted a plea for the number.  If you find out, please please post.

hi girls!  I just discovered the wonder that is the Marisa dress, but am interested in buying a preowned dress to keep costs down.

I have no idea what the style number is for the dress I want to buy, but it’s a silk organza strapless modified A-line dress with a scoop neck, a V-shaped back, and a few pick ups in the front and back.  The dress I tried on also had a black sash with a coral colored flower on it, but it’s not clear to me whether the designer or the shop owner chose to pair the sash with the dress (I would probably swap it for a champagne colored sash).  It does NOT have any lace appliques, although the dress seems very similar to the dress @RVArtist posted.  I’m looking for the dress in Ivory.

If this sounds like anyone’s dress who is interested in selling, i would love to hear from you!

I love Marisa style 895 but am considering adding cap sleeves or a lace jacket. I know that may be pricy so I wanted to see how much the dresses usually run to begin with. Any help is appreciated!

Hi Marisa Brides! Did anyone else add lace straps to their Marisa 737 dress? Would anyone be willing to share their pics with me? I am in love with this dress!! Thanks!

II found this amazing, elegant, whimsical Marisa 737 dress and want to add bolero lace straps with a keyhole back! Has anyone seen this done? It would be so great to see more pics if anyone has them. 🙂

@Nicb23:  Are you sure that’s 737? It looks more like 895. I don’t think 737 has the one side like that. I am looking to get the 895 and add bolero straps as well. Going to look into it next weekend. I’ll post how it goes.

@Eirbear202:  Yes you are correct! I just realized its the 895. Thanks! I ordered the dress yesterday in the ivory color! I am doing removable lace straps, but not with a keyhole back. I’ll post pics soon!

@Eirbear202:  I ended up paying $2100 for my dress plus 350 to add lace straps plus alterations on top of that.

Here is my Marisa 895 with added lace straps in ivory. I ordered this yesterday! I am adding a sweetheart neckline too! It’s the perfect dress for me. I am super excited! Should arrive in November 2012.  @Eirbear202:

@Nicb23:  I love it! Looks great with those straps! Happy to know it looks so great with them added. Really hoping a keyhole will work out, if not yours got me psyched about the kind you have. Congrats! Price is along the lines I was envisioning as well.

@Eirbear202:  Thanks!! I did speak with the alterations dept about the keyhole back, but we decided since the bottom of the dress has so much “drama,” the lace keyhole back would take away from the already amazing dress. It might be “too much.” The lace straps they are adding are simple enough to add flair to the top of the dress, and they will be removable for the reception. Plus it makes the dress one of a kind, so I liked that idea. 🙂 Good luck with yours!!

This is the Marisa dress I bought yesterday.  No clue about style number.  Anyone else know?

@Eirbear202, I have the Marisa dress style 865 and have been looking EVRYWHERE for straps.  Apparently no shops in my area can possibly find lace staps to match it. 🙁  Do you mind if I ask how or where you found lace straps for yours?
