(Closed) Marking R.s.v.p.s: Is there anything actually *wrong* with just writing names?

I also wrote everyone’s names in on the RSVP.  We’re inviting 140 guests, it didn’t take TOO much time to add the names in.  I rather not deal with blanks regardless of putting a number on the back or not.  Of the current RSVPs that came back, only 2 guests actually INITIALED their meal choice as they were asked to.  Everyone else put check marks!  They soooo did not read the instructions.  How am I supposed to know who chose beef and who chose chicken within the couple?  I took a guess and they can switch their plates at the reception if need be.  Their own faults.  lol.

I think it’s fine.  I personally am not doing this because I don’t want to pay even more to the calligrapher, and my invitations would look weird if it wasn’t done in calligraphy.
