I would love to see some marquise settings! Please let me know the carat size and ring size as well!
I have my fiance’s mothers engagement ring, and in honor of her we would like to get the stone set so I can wear it as a RHR. My engagement ring is beautiful and I dont want to replace, but I would like to show case his mothers stone in a speacial way. The stone is a little under a carat.
This setting I found on Etsy, and thought it would be a nice way to showcase the stone, without looking like an engagement ring.

Personally, I think marquise look beautiful when set East-to-West, like this!

None are my ring, but I would be thrilled if they were!

My engagement ring is not a marquise, but I think they are classy and beautiful! yours is lovely, do you know the carat size of your stone, just so I am aware for comparison.

I love marquise cuts! I have a marquise cut that my grandmother got for my grandmother on their 5th anniversary, which they gave me as a gift for my 21st birthday. I love it! Wish I had a picture on here!
Though I think east-west settings look a wee bit like eyes.

Mine obviously looks like an engagement ring and not a RHR, but I’ll still post it. It’s a 3/4 carat on a size 4.25 finger. 🙂
ETA: I LOVE that setting that you posted. It is so unique!

My marquise is 1.27 cts, ring size 7.25, 4mm shank:

Here is mine! I know people usually associate marquise rings with the 80’s, but I just love mine and think it is a very unique cut! Plus, there are all kinds of ways to “modernize” marquise. I get stopped and complimented all the time on mine.
1ct center marquise with two half-moon side stones equaling 0.52 cts and halo around all three. TCW= 2.5 cts. I wear a size 4.5

Here’s my engagement ring. Heirloom ring. Size 6 finger, .47 carat diamond. Only cost $250 to have remade (obvious from the pics there was plenty of gold lol, so it was just labor cost) from this:
Love the idea of making it “yours” but still something special. 🙂 Such fun. I spent so long figure out what I wanted (as I didn’t want pointy/stabby… tall order for a marquise!) that DH joked if he knew it would take that long he’d have just come up with something and suprised me.

@cschmidt1214: I had mine made with an ultra thin band and 2 slim halos
Best of luck 🙂
