@busybride215:  You might want to post these different questions in the Nebraska and FLorida board.

But for us, we had to apply for the marriage license where we lived and you would probably have to check with the park authority regarding the license for use.

You get th license in th state in which you are getting married. So if you choose Florida the license will come from Florida.

@mchitt329:  Was the ceremony in the state where you live though? I always thought you need to get the license from the same state where you’re getting married, and that was my experience. In order to be married in Ohio, I had to get a license from Ohio, not the state I lived in. I know the same was true for friends who had a destination wedding, and a relative who had a spur-of-the-moment wedding while on vacation. In all cases, the license had to be from the state where the ceremony was conducted.

OP, I’d double check, because that’s not something you want to risk messing up.

@Daisy_Mae:  Yes, same state but different counties.  I think you are right but I think OP needs to ask the county clerk, not bees!  Like you said, you don’t want to risk screwing that up!

I’m pretty sure you need to get the license from the place you are going to be married in, but obviously check with your local laws to be sure.
