sarge1400 :  maybe invite two of her friends to grab a table in the back of the restaurant so they can be there for the big reveal.

sarge1400 :  You could plan a party and have all her friends there, but still do a private proposal between the two of you right before. Is there a special place nearby to your watering hole?

I agree with secretly having her best friends there to witness and then pop out to celebrate. That way it’s the best of both worlds. So sweet, congratulations!

You can also propose in private right before you meet her friends, and then you guys can all celebrate together!

Hmm.. would there perhaps be some way you could propose to her in an area that is more private/secluded, but maybe have her family/friends watching from a little ways off? Perhaps someplace pretty and outdoors with candles/flowers. And then perhaps organize a dinner or celebration after? Being an introvert, I totally understand not wanting to do things in front of people. I also kind of agree that a proposal is a more intimate moment. Perhaps something like this would be a way for you both to get the ideal proposal? I would definitely get a photographer or someone to snap a few pictures!

Maybe you could hire a photographer to capture the moment, and then she can show her friends?

MsCarabiner :  I was just going to suggest the same thing!

My fiance hired a photographer (good friends of mine) to be there and arranged for both of our families to show up after… I ended up getting photos and video of the proposal which was so special (and my mom/gramma/friends were happy to get to witness it) but yet, we still got the special moment with just us!

sarge1400 :  That sounds very nice…maybe tell one of her friends in advance, so she can take pics.
