@Miss. RubyLove:  It should roughly take about 1-3 months max.  I’m a photographer and usually it takes me between this time depending on how many photos was taken and what was ordered.  I never go over the 3 month mark!

Have you asked your photog.  how long it would take to process??

I would like to know this as well. I haven’t received mine and it will be 2 months Thursday.

@Miss. RubyLove:  Yikes,  This really sounds fishy!  Sounds like you got a lazy photog. :/  I really hate those!!

The last time you spoke with her did she say how much longer it would be? Also do you have a contract?

If so I would re-read it and see if there is something stating when the photos would be complete by!  I have those in all my contracts that way any of my clients can say “Hey you said these would be done by this date” if I ever go over, (thank god I never missed a deadline!)

My photographer said his goal was 1 month turnaround for the disc, max of 3 months during his busy season. The album depends on how quickly we pick out the pictures and place the order.

It hasn’t even been one month for me yet. It’s annoying when people ask me for pics and think it’s taking too long. Now I feel better knowing that if you wait 3 months it’s not too bad.

@Miss. RubyLove:  Personally i would find out this week and make her tell you when they will be done.  it is way over due already.  If she doesn’t come to her senses or professionalism thats when you need to think of lightly threatening.  Coming to this point can be very difficult especially if the contract doesn’t state a “due date”.

    :/

FYI to any bees.  Make sure your contract has a “due date” This can / will prevent anything like this happening to you.

PM if you need some more detailed advice I am willing to provide 😀

My photographer said he always get them out in less than a month. Busy guy, he has responded to my emails sometimes at 1am!

Most of our pictures were up on the photog’s website within the week. I think we’re getting the CD soon. He’s the BEST!

Wow, her response was beyond rude. She is supposed to be a professional and to make excuses is horrible. I am sorry you are going through this 🙁 You responded very well though IMO.

As for how long I waited.. we were married 8/5, promised photos by the beginning of September. Nothing by October so I e-mailed him. He was very nice and explained that he had a family emergency and we would get them this week. I wish he would have given us an update but I understand that sometimes things happen. A YEAR is way too long though. I don’t know how you’ve waited that long and haven’t gone crazy!
