@starlight1222: Not married yet… but if we had a choice we would have married on our dating anniversary (unfortunately for us, that falls on Good Friday next year which doesn’t quite work for a church wedding)…
…So we do intend to keep celebrating our dating anniversary – we might just have to make it a fortnight-long celebration each year (our wedding date is two weeks before our dating anniversary)!

We dated for just over 9 years before our wedding, so the dating anniversary is significant to us. Well, me, at least. Darling Husband has mentioned that we could start the count back to zero, but to me that feels like invalidating the 9+ years we spent together before it was finally an okay time in our lives to sign a legal document. Not to mention, I wanted to marry sooner than that, but, not an okay time and such. Also this year will be our 10th, I’d like to at least do something nice for that.
But we’re not big celebrators in general. A special day just means going out for a nice dinner, maybe exchanging a small gift or some flowers. For special wedding anniversaries, I’d like to stay at our wedding night hotel or visit our honeymoon location (both within driving distance), but I’m not sure we’ll even do that.

We got married on our “dating” anniversary, it is a very special day to us, and one that we want to always celebrate!! Ive known for years that it would be the date of our wedding! after 6 years of dating, it seems weird to celebrate a differet anniversary day, so I am glad we did this!
So to answer your question, yes, we still celebrate it (or we will, since we just got married) , because it is the same day as our wedding anniversary! =]

Yes. They are two days apart so we just make a weekend out of it
