Our wedding was much later but, I woke up and had a protein bar with my coffee. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to eat so the protein bar filled me up and ensured I wouldn’t get light headed.

I ended up having time for lunch and ate a kale caesar salad and drank a green juice before putting on my dress. I’m also a mess, I ate while I was getting my make up done.

I didn’t want pictures of ‘getting ready’ so it left me time to relax, have some champagne, and get it in with some greens.

When my SIL got married, she had Panera cater breakfast for us at the salon where we got ready. Fruit, yogurt, granola, and assorted pastries and bagels, with coffee and orange juice. And champagne, of course. They also catered lunch for us back at the hotel, with sandwiches, salad, and chips.

My bridal party was much smaller, so while we got ready that morning we had Tim Horton’s bagels, donuts, coffee, juice, & champagne. Our venue brought us a spread just before the ceremony, consisting of various dips (veggie dip, spinach dip, hummus, etc.), vegetables, pita bread. There may have been more, but I honestly didn’t eat any of it so I don’t remember lol.

Steph77:  we had a fruit tray with forks & toothpicks, I also had some mixed nuts.  I didn’t eat much at all during the day.  Once my dress was on I ate nothing until dinner (3:00-7:00)

We had a 1:30 afternoon ceremony so we were up pretty early. I had zero appetite due to nerves but I knew I had to eat something. The bridal suite supplied is with bagels, fruit, and muffins so I just periodically snacked on a muffin and had some fruit. I had one cup of coffee and drank plenty of water after. I decided to skip on the mimosas because my skin gets flushed when I drink.

We had bagels, fruit, eggs and bacon for breakfast. My sweet parents cooked for everyone. For lunch we had some sandwiches and chips. but I don’t think I ate anything in my dress until the cocktail hour.

We woke up at 11 and my dad did a McDonald’s breakfast run for us and had food ready for us. We ate that but I was so nervous I think I just had a hasbrown and a yogurt parfait. We then started getting ready. Our ceremony started at 2:00 and our cocktail hour was from 4-5 with 5 hors’deovours for our guests. We got there at 5 had the wedding party introduction, bride and groom introduction and big group dance, first dance, father daughter dance, and mother son dance. We probably ate at like 5:15 and I ate as much as I could in my fitted dress, I wasn’t starving, but I wasn’t about to skip eating to do table visits, that’s why we had a receiving line at the ceremony location.

You ladies all had such light meals and finger food! I had a sub. Lol. I had my hair done and my veil pinned in, and I was sitting in the food court at the mall eating a sub. It was great 🙂
