We got married on June 15th. It was absolutely beautiful, spectacular, went off without too many hitches, etc. What suprised me was how sick I felt in the limo on the way to the church! I don’t know if it was nerves, the fact that I had nothing in my stomache but a few crackers and mimosas or what, but I was legitimately concerned we would have a.. ahem.. messy situation on our hands.
Of course, the church doors opened, I locked eyes with my husband, and it all faded away.:)
Anyone else experience this?
(Putting this on the Emotional board cause I’m near certain it was my nerves conspiring against me.. Though I don’t think the champagne helped ;))

@MsKaz: I was a wreck from the moment I got in the gown to my first look with Darling Husband. I’m NEVER like that with nerves but spending the night away from him and so much going on with him not around when we’re normally attached at the hip. GAHHHH
My photog and I were in a seperate area taking bridal portraits before my Darling Husband arrived for the first look and she definitely thought I was going to faint or runaway bride on her. I was just like let’s stop pictures, I’m going to sit over here until Darling Husband gets here for the first look because that was all I wanted at the moment.

@MsKaz: Everyone kept saying I was TOO calm, and I was until after pictures. We got done early (yes it is possible to get done early with pics lol) and we had a chance to sit down and relax before the ceremony. It was only 20 minutes, but it felt like forever. I sat there shaking uncontrollably telling my brother I was going to pass out or puke. He is like, “Oh that would be funny to have a stain down the front of your dress. “Good thing he was around to keep me sane lol.
My legs shook the whole way down the aisle and while singing with my husband, but as soon as that was done I was the calmest I have ever been in my life. Looking into my DH’s eyes while taking our vows just made everything else seem small.

I had a bad marriage before and before that one I wanted to hurl. Before my civil ceremony though I was 100% peaceful. I had no worries at all so happy. Cant wait for my big ceremony in Feb, that one I might get nervous about since there will be a ton of people and a professional camera man.

i am anxious enough already, so i have a feeling i will have my nerves take over! Thats part of the reason i want to do first look pics so i can see him before hand, and calm myself down.

I felt a little anxious while we were waiting to start, but otherwise was fine. BUT I know a girl who literally puked on the church steps as they left the church after ceremony/photos! It was just pent up stress, but she dusted herself off and had a great reception lol.
