Take a moment, right before you walk down the aisle, to breathe and take it in. After that moment your day flies by and it will be over before you know it. I am so glad I had a moment to myself to just relax and stop the craziness.

Make SURE you take time to eat! If you don’t make sure you make time for it you wont eat a bite!

We SCARFED down our food as fast as we could during the toasts, and we were STILL hungry when we got back to the hotel room so if you can ask the caterers to pack you a meal to eat later that would be a good idea too!!! And extra cake!

Don’t sweat the small details, it doesn’t matter if your centerpieces are a different shade of blue than your bridesmaid dresses, or your brother brought some floozy bar skank as his date. Remember what the day is truly about and take time to relish in the things that matter.

Nobody cares about your wedding as much as you do…. NOONE!

Subscribe to this attitude and you will be pleasently surprised and thankful when people show they care but won’t be disappointed when people show they don’t!

From my first wedding:

– EAT!! I forgot to eat before the ceremony (even though I was hungry) and I was starving. I felt like I had to rush through pictures just so that I could go get a snack

– Relax! The small details really do not matter, all that matters is the end result

The only that I would change about my day was my posture! It sounds silly, but looking at some of the photos I’m like gosh why aren’t my shoulders back and my head held higher. It’s simple, but makes all the difference in pictures.

@Adams_bee:  Ooh this is a good idea. I’ve had a couple panic attacks in my time as will as crying spells. I didn’t even think of this could affect the wedding though- I will definitely be speaking to my doctor!
