I’m not sure if this is a universal thing or if it varies by church – when did you bring your wedding programs? Did you bring them on rehearsal night to leave at church so they are there ready to go on Saturday? Or did you bring them to the church on the wedding day?

MsYankee: First, congrats. I hope you ENJOY every minute of your weekend 🙂
Second, I brought them to our rehearsal, and gave them to (along with our Unity Candle and musicians payment) my Aunt, whom was in charge of setting those things up, and/or distributing them!! She got to the Church about 25 minutes before the Ceremony, and did what I asked, thankfully! No issue 🙂

OUgal0004: awesome, thank you! I have the unity candle, and I called the church and they said we can drop off the pew bows tonight and then my dad and friend will tie them on the pews the morning of the ceremony. So maybe I’ll give the unity candle and programs to my dad to bring them that morning.

I would give them directly to whomever is in charge of distributing or placing them at the wedding.
Too much chance of something going missing if you just leave them at the church. Someone might put them away”for safe keeping” in a place that is unknown to the staff or volunteers present on the day of the wedding.
