I am pretty sure there will be no “no shows” at our wedding as it is destination and people will be losing out on a bunch of money themselves if they do that.

Invited almost 90 and had ~80 RSVP yes… ended up with 15 no shows. Yes, 15. A few had health situations (older family), one had a travel circumstance. One had a really, really lame excuse, and one family of 5 gave no reason. They just “couldn’t make it.” Uh huh.

We had about 105 people there, and only one no-show (that I was aware of).

out of 190 we had 10 no shows. with no phone calls or anything for why they didnt come. which irks me a little bit because we had a seated dinner and had to pay for them. a phone call or i’m sorry would have been nice. some people…..

We invited 150 people, had 134 rsvp’s and two no-shows.  We had a formal sit-down dinner.  We paid for the dinner (of course) but I have heard of a few weddings were the guests had to pay for their meal.  Probably a lot less no-shows, but also a lot less RSVP’s with this option.

@MrsJules10: I feel you! We have quite a few people that didn’t show but also didn’t let us know ahead of time. So inconsiderate. Most of them are my husband’s friends. I asked him if their lack of consideration change his perspective of them, he said no (I am shocked! It changes my perspective of them)

63 people invited, 8 no shows, no calls whatsoever. Two of the no shows are a couple that actually had the balls to ask for an invite, then didn’t come. Rude all around. One of the no shows was DH’s best man. Yeah, we have awesome friends.

Oh my god i’m so paranoid we have like a month to go and I’m so worried about all the no shows, people are already starting to annoy me with all their drama of not wanting to sit beside so and so etc etc

We had 7 no shows who rsvp yes, the package was inclusive (unless we went way over) so I wasn’t too pissed. However, it was all family! My friends who were there are more of a family then those that didn’t show anyway!

This is crazy!! I’m so worried about no shows because I still have to pay for them! Ugh! I hope we don’t have too many.
