I had 5 no-shows for my shower and only 1 no-show for my wedding. Don’t think about or stress about it. The wedding will be paid for before then and since there is nothing you can do, try not to stress about it (I know that is easier said than done). What I did at the wedding was having a seating board so I never had to see whose seating card was left.

I’m sure it’ll be different for everyone. 🙁

But we had 2 people tell us the day after we sent in final count that they can’t come. That annoyed me because we knew they would do that but they kept insisting they will come.

2 people couldn’t come last minute because of health issues.

2 were blatant no shows!

But we had a couple last minutes Yes’s so at the end I think we were only really short 2?

We had 15 no shows out of an RSVP of around 300. Definitely disappointing, but there wasn’t much we could do. The most frustrating part were the no shows who didn’t even offer up an explanation. I mean, who just doesn’t show up to a wedding and totally ignores giving a reason??

We had 54 guests RSVP yes and only 1 no show!

It’s a little aggravating but really what are you going to do about it at that point. People are just ignorant to how weddings work.

We had 2 no shows. One was a “friend” of mine who told me the day before the wedding that she couldn’t come. Another was the date of my husbands cousin who is in med school and wasnt able to make it down.

We had 150 at our wedding.  2 people called in the week before and had to cancel due to health reasons.  1 person was a no show the day of.  It was my husband’s cousin’s baby mama (and sometimes fiance?).  They are weird and I totally knew she would pull that and I was annoyed.  Big time.

We had 76 people RSVP and 3 no-shows. One was a last-minute invite of a not-that-great friend of mine. The other two were dates of people who were invited (and showed up sans-date).

I was annoyed. But I was glad that they were all people that I didn’t really care that much about. If a family member had no-show’d I would have been a lot more upset.

I know specifically of four people out of 225 who didn’t show up for our wedding. I know there were a few other last minute nos, but my Mother-In-Law just invited some of her friends to take the spots, and they just took the escort cards of the people they replaced. We already had so many people coming that I had never met that it didn’t really make a difference, plus we got our money’s worth with all the food and drink that didn’t go to waste!

We had 88 RSVP yes and only three didn’t end up coming. They were my uncle, his wife and their young son. He had an accident at work and needed to have emergency surgery on his hand the Thursday before the wedding, so when they called my parents and told them we completely understood.

No one RSVP’d yes and then flaked out though.

We had 2 couples that RSVP-ed yes, but had to call and change their RSVP (for health/family reasons) and 1 person no-showed the day of.  The no-show hasn’t bothered to contact either of us since – hasn’t bothered to apologize, explain why or congratulate us.  We had 157 guests.

2 out of 60 guests. It was a couple who didn’t even call or give an excuse till a month later. I wish I had been prepared like you are; I didn’t even think anyone would do this and was shocked when I saw the empty seats.

We didn’t have any no-shows. One couple verbally RSVP’d yes and waited until the week of the wedding to mail back a “no” RSVP card which really pissed us off, but we actually had two last minute invites to fill their spots so it all worked out. And everyone else showed, I would have known if not because we only had 140 guests and I spent time with all of them.

We had 80 yes’s.  5 of those didn’t show, but 1 person came that was a surprise.
