Best day of my life – so far! As our first dance song said, “the best is yet to come”, so who knows what other best days there will be? 🙂

I feel the same as a PP in that my wedding day and birth of my child haven’t necessarily been the best days but the most important days of my life. I would say the best days of my life are the days everything just seems to fall into place. For example, memorial day weekend Darling Husband, Dear Daughter and I went to some local wineries/farmstands with some of my family and everything was just perfect. we had a picnic, Dear Daughter was in such a great mood (and at five months, she was/is now at my favorite age where she’ll giggle and smile and is so fun!). the weather was gorgeous and i got great pics of my daughter. those are my favorite kind of days and trumps my wedding anyday 🙂

Well I’m not married yet,  nor do I have any children, but I fully expect that my wedding day will be the best day of my life.   Up to this point, I really feel like my engagement day has been the best, but I’m sure my wedding day will top it.  It’s not because I expect it to be “perfect”, it’s just because I can’t imagine anything more wonderful or special than marrying the love of my life, and celebrating with 100 of our nearest and dearest.  Nothing beats that in my book!

Seeing as I had a major weather storm on my wedding day I cannot say it was the best day of my life lol..but it sure was an adventure and I got to marry my husband which was the best moment of my life.

It was great (in our case we were also dealing with the sudden and unexpected loss of my mom 10 days prior) Top 10 sure? we have a great family and great friends and it was a big party and lots of fun. I knew going into it (even before the loss) that it really was just one day (an awesome day sure, but just one day) in a lifetime of awesome days. I think that perspective helped me enjoy it 100% without as much pressure for it to be perfect

No. Not by a long shot. I still cringe when I think about the day, and haven’t gotten to a point yet where I dont regret having a wedding (I wanted to elope). But I guess that’s to be expected if you have a wedding you don’t want.

My wedding was great, but it wasn’t the best day of my life. I can think of a lot of better days- a day we spent laying by a pool in miami and then, tan and happy, having a fucking delicious dinner and then cuddled in bed with a bottle of champage. Or the first time I ever went snowboarding (and I spent the day sliding down the mountain on my ass while he patiently helped me up every 15 feet.)  Or the entire trip to montreal where we got engaged.  Basically any day where I didn’t put on makeup, we slept in and we really spent the entire day together was as good or better than my wedding day.

My wedding was great, but when we finally got to bed at 2am that night I said “I’m so glad that’s over, let’s never do it again” and he said “I agree- thank god we never have to.”

I feel like our wedding day was the best entire day of my life, but the moment our baby was born was the best single moment of my life, if that makes sense. The labor part sucked (26 hours), but the first time I held her was amazing. I guess the two days feel kind of equal to me, but different.

mscuppycake:  It was the best day so far – there may be future days that beat it, but so far I can’t think of a single day where I was happier or had more fun.

mscuppycake:  for me it was the best days of my life

I have a really sad past, and Darling Husband has been with me through a lot of it. He has been my rock. So the wedding day for me was a new beginning bc we were now able to be with eachother day in and day out. The day he proposed and the wedding day are the two best days of my life. And there will he a lot more best days – like the day i tell him im pregnant, the day i give birth – so, so far, yes, my wedding day was one of my favorite days.

In terms of how happy I was, yes, my wedding day was the best day of my life 🙂

However, there are other days that matched that day in terms of profundity, meaning, etc. such as giving my high school graduation speech, dancing with my father at my sweet 16 party, Darling Husband proposing to me, and finding out I passed the bar.  And I’m sure there will be more to come…the wedding is just the best I’ve had so far!

Giving birth was not my “best day ever!” I love my daughter to death but that day was exhausting And stressful and something I don’t ever want to go through again! Lol as for the wedding, my first wedding was pretty fun (the relationship died but the wedding itself was awesome) so I expect this one to be even better! Not the best day but I think it will be pretty close!
