mscuppycake:  But isn’t that cheating, because a week of vacation isn’t just a single day?  I mean, the 2.5 months I spent backpacking and hitchhiking around South America when I was 21 was probably better than my wedding day… but I don’t think I could isolate one single day of that time that was better than my wedding day…

Anyway of course it doesn’t really matter and it’s just semantics.  But to me that’s the interesting part of the question – what SINGLE day is the best one that you can pinpoint?

I’m so ready for the wedding to be done with! Planning a morning wedding so that Fiance and I can have the whole afternoon and evening to go out on a date ALONE and celebrate finally being married.

mscuppycake:  My wedding day was lovely but i wouldn’t say it was the best day. I was tired, rushing around like a headless chook and was so worried about everyone else enjoying themselves i forgot about myself.

I love my husband and i love doing simple little things together. Laying on the bed just chatting and laughing to me is equally as enjoyable.

mscuppycake:  I can’t think of any one day that’s beaten it so far, but of course I’m hoping I top it!  I think it’s a combo of looking better than you ever do normally, having everyone you love in a room together, and getting to eat cake.  That’s pretty hard to beat in my opinion 😉

It was amazing, and obviously will forever be one of the most significant days of my life, if not the best day. It all went relatively smoothly, but the behaviour of one or two guests really distressed me on the day and, I’m sorry to say, detracted from my overall enjoyment of the wedding.

We don’t have kids, but I would imagine the birth of our children would be more significant for me.

mscuppycake:  I thought my wedding day was fantasic and amazing and even though many things did not go according to plan- my SIL coiuldn’t do her reading, my Mother-In-Law forgetting to print out the wedding prayer.

we all rolled with it and went with it. We asking someone else to do the reading, and I just made up a wedding prayer on the spot

The only day better was the birth of my daughter,

we had a wedding weekend rather just a one day event and I can say without a doubt this was the best weekend of my life

I’m not married yet, will be married in 10 days though. I can say that it will be great day, but not the best. I have 2 biological children and their births take the cake on ANY day in the history of ever. <3

It was definitely one of the best days of our lives.  Some things went wrong, but it wasn’t the end of the world and we laughed about it.  Lol.  Our cake FELL OVER and my bolero jacket was a tad too big.  I looked like a line backer in some of the photos. Geeze.

Not the best day, But I did feel the happiest I have ever been when we said our vows, we both had tears in our eyes and that, to me, was more than I could ever dream for.
