So, I loved pretty much every aspect of my wedding. But, if I could go back and re-do, I’d elope. I just don’t think it was worth spending sooo much money on one day. We paid for it ourselves, but I just imagine how much more savings we’d have if we had’ve eloped (or done a really small private ceremony wedding).

I wish I would have chosen a different dress. We were married on a beach, and while I picked a lightweight and flowy wedding dress, it was still hot and uncomfortable. I should have chosen a bridesmaid or other white dress instead.

jellybellynelly : Both SO and I started off planning a regular wedding but we have downsized significantly now especially after seeing how much some things cost!!! Especially things you’d throw away after that day (flowers decoration, etc)

needmorewine : Thanks! I get a little hot in my dress too but I’ll be changing out of it soon after the ceremony so I just need to deal with it for a while. Thank God it’s not a summer wedding!
