I’m still in the process of deciding on a veil. I was thinking of wearing a cathedral length veil for the ceremony and then switching to a birdcage for the reception. Now I’m thinking of wearing a shorter (fingertip) veil for the ceremony and reception. Thoughts?
Did you wear your veil the whole night?

I had a fingertip veil and I removed it after our first dance and father/daughter dance.

I took mine out after the pictures and then clipped a couple of flowers in my hair. I kinda wish I left it in for the dances, but it didn’t even occur to me at the time, I just wanted to be free of the veil and train!

I had an elbow length veil that I took off after the ceremony/pictures were done. Even just taking pictures people were tugging on it when they were posing with me and then it was flying around all crazy in the wind so I didn’t want to keep it on a second longer!

I was going to remove it after pictures or first dance, but I forgot and wore it the whole night.

I’m going to take mine off after ceremony and pictures. We’re having dinner before moving into a different room for dancing, so I’m not about to wear it through dinner just to have it for the dances (even though I’d really love to have it on!). Then again, Fi and I will probably be getting a little wacky with our dance, so having the veil on would probably be a major annoyance!

I took it off after the ceremony and photos. I had a flower to put in my hair for the reception. I loved my veil, but everytime someone hugged me, it tugged, which kind of hurt, and I didn’t want it to mess up my hair.

I took it off after the ceremony. We didn’t take any pictures afterwards but for all of my pictures prior to the reception and all the posed shots I have my veil on.

I didn’t vote because there wasn’t really an option that fit–I took my fingertip length veil off between the cocktail hour and dinner. I was planning on keeping it on, but whenever someone hugged me, they were tugging on it and it was making me nervous about my hair. So I took it off at the same time that my moh bustled my dress
