I’m not really sure what you’re asking…knowing what I know now? What are you referring to?

To me, absolutely.

I would have done it all over again in a heartbeat. Maybe with just two slight tweaks. 🙂
It was a great day, not just for us, but for everyone.

Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose. The only thing I would have changed is the company we did all our rentals from. They screwed up EVERYTHING and caused a lot of chaos, stress, and messed up my time line a lot. That being said, there was no way I could have known that was going to happen. It was a really big nation wide company and that kind of mistake shouldn’t have happened. I wouldn’t have changed anything else though. Everthing outside of them went off without a hitch 🙂

Is slowing down time an option? The whole thing went by so fast (any wedding related event: showers, dinners, rehearsal, the wedding itself)!

I’m happy with everything else though. Where we chose to splurge, where we chose to cut back, what I spent lots of time on, what I did quick and dirty. It all worked out nicely I think.

I would have eloped!  Seriously, right after the wedding we both said, “Yep, we should have eloped.”  We always thought we should elope, but worried we’d regret it.  We loved our wedding, but we’re very private, so elopement would have been more “us.”  Though I totally would have kept the same photographer, we would have had AWESOME elopement photos.

I would. I didn’t want the wedding to begin with, but it made my husband happy, and we came to a good comprimise with a small wedding.

Absolutely!! I WISH I could do it all over again, and slow down a little this time and enjoy it–and fix my bustle so it wouldn’t get ripped out, lol. In terms of the planning…I would have tried to chill out a little bit. The whole time, I was driving myself and Darling Husband a little bit crazy, freaking out over every single detail and second guessing myself constantly.

Without a doubt! The week leading up to our wedding was very stressful for me…not only was I finishing up some last minute details but it was also a family vacation for his family and mine, together! But I would still do it all again.

The funny thing is when Darling Husband gave me my birthday card (early) he wrote how much he loved our wedding and that he would redo it all again any day. It was so nice hearing him say that and to actually realize everything that went into the wedding, all the hard work.

The weeks leading up were definitely VERY stressful. But having our family and friends around us helping us was awesome.

On the day of 98% of things went off without a hitch and the 2% were just not important enough to even minutely taint the day.

The absolute joy on everyone’s face, especially my mom, 2 brothers and our nieces and nephews were totally worth all that stress. To see that joy on their faces is what we waited 10 years for. So yes, I would do it again in a New York second.

I loved our wedding, but I am happy to focus on the next steps in my life now, so no, I would not do it again. I’d rather keep the fond memories and move forward.
