For me, I made the mistake of not making enough check lists and double checking contracts.  I didn’t have anyone to serve our food because I checked the wrong box, oops.  I am a list person anyway so I wish I had made a timeline and a checklist for the last few days and for each person.

The only thing looking back that made me stress was that after Darling Husband and I had our first look the BM’s and GM’s were suppose to meet us. Well 2 of the GM’s didn’t know where to go and put us behind by 20 minutes(same building they were waiting somewhere else).  I wish at the rehearsal I would have shown everyone where they had to be for all aspects of that day.

Make sure you have your liscence! haha thats the one thing I almost forgot. Also have a schedule for the entire day, you should know what is happening each minute. Also bring an emergency kit to the ceremony, my bustle popped but thankfully my seamstress was a family friend and a guest, make sure you or a bridesmaid knows what to do if your bustle pops since it happens a lot. I also had deoderant and my overnight kit. Most important, have your mom, fmil, or bridesmaid who is organized and can take charge to be your day of coordinator, you will be hiding all day in your room getting ready and will have no idea where your guys are, if they are where they are supposed to be, if your cake was delivered, if your flowers are ready etc, have someone ready to orchestrate these details because you wont be able to. Have a plan for cleanup, if your venue isnt going to take care of it, and who is going to take all the decorations and leftover cake after the reception to wherever it goes – this should not be something you deal with its your wedding night! Remember to eat! get a fruit tray for your room while you get ready! And most of all, enjoy every minute of this process and the day, you will miss it when its over!

Most caterers and reception halls will provide one if you dont have your own, so dont stress over that. I had one but didnt need to use it as our hall already had one by the cake.
