I was thinking of starting a thread like this but decided to check if one already existed and found this one 🙂 I hope more brides add to it as well.

I didn’t make an inspration board while I was planning but I did have a lot of pictures I refered to while planning so I made this board from them.

I would also like to add…that those beautiful lights that give nice effects of color….look super nice in pictures but really boring in real life.

@katieebee:  If I had used all of the things I posted on my inspiration board, my wedding would have looked awful. There were a lot of things I liked, but that doesn’t mean they would have all worked well in the same room. I picked a combination of the things I liked the most, that went well together, and items that fit in my budget (mostly). In the end, I was happy with what I chose and the reception was beautiful. 

There were definitely several things that made it off the boards and into the wedding, and other things that had to be nixed because they wouldn’t have fit with what ended up being sort of an urban-rustic hybrid theme.
