So I’ve been married for a while now but I’ve been depressed with how my wedding went and how my pictures turned out so I’ve been holding back from posting.
It seems as though almost everything that could go wrong did go wrong. The entire week was sunshiny and on my day it rain for almost the entire day. This set back the wedding by an hour and we had to have the wedding under the reception tent instead of on the lawn as I wanted . The decorator even though she was fabulous was late and when I arrived she was still setting up. The person who was supposed to take care of lighting for the tent didnt and we had to rush the wedding, the photography and eating or else we would have been in darkness. The person who was in charge of the music was never around and there was just awkward silence for the majority of the wedding. I was basically running around in my dress telling people what to do. Most of the pictures my photographer took were either awkward, fuzzy or over edited which made them look like child’s artwork.
However there are a few decent guest pictures that actually capture what my photographer should have along with a few of the photographer’s pictures that I actually liked. Enjoy!

Sorry that you had these issues to deal with, that sounds very rough and you shouldn’t have had all of that stress on your wedding day! But these pictures are so sweet and you look beautiful!!

@VeeeVeee: You looked absolutely gorgeous! Things went wrong for us to but in end you married the love of your life and you both look so happy! I know the other things suck, but in the end it honestly looks like everyone had a great time anyway 🙂

I am glad you had some photos that you like – but that is a shame that you didn’t completely enjoy your day. It seems like you handled it well and are trying to look at the positive aspects, which is so hard to do for a day that you have been looking forward to and planning since you got engaged! You look so beautiful – and it looks like your HUSBAND is a lucky man, and very happy that he is married to you. Congrats!

Thanks all! I did enjoy myself in the end even though in the begining I felt like crying when I saw how disorganized everything was. I did have fun. I just wish we could do it all over again. I did get a free trash the dress shoot from a photographer friend who sympathized with my ordeal though so that should be fun!

Aww thats a shame 🙁 I hope you got some (if not all) of your money back from the lighting guy and the DJ!
I think you looked gorgeous! Your dress was beautiful and SO flattering! I really like the flowers and paper balls (lanterns?) in the tent, too!
