Hi Ladies!! Need your help picking a wedding date 🙂 Ok, so not specifically the date, but time frame in general…
We were originally planning on doing an April wedding in Cancun/Riviera Maya but are now second guessing due to scheduling conflicts (DS is in college, several of our friends are teachers, etc…). We really wanted to do Spring to avoid the heat. I realize that it’s going to be warm almost any time of the year in Mexico 😉 we just wanted to avoid the super hot summer months. We are now looking at moving the wedding to later in the year (ie: super hot summer months) so that more of our friends/family can attend – but we really don’t want to be sweating our butts off on our wedding day 🙁
What month did you get married in MX? Just looking for help, as I’m starting to abandon my dream Destination Wedding altogether 🙁

My brother got married last year at Dreams Resort, Cabo San Lucas at the end of July, and it was hot, but we all still had a great time!! I think the experience will depend on who is there to support you. Regardless of the weather, this is your day and if people want to be there and enjoy it with you then they will be there, sweat and all!

We got married at the end of May. It was definitely not but not unbearable. We got really sweaty walking around downtown Playa and when we went to Tulum. But we chose and 6 p.m. ceremony and I wasn’t hot at all. As long as it isn’t like 2 p.m. I think everyone will be fine.

We got married the day after Thanksgiving- it was perfect for us, everyone was able to use the long weekend, and not have to use vacation days… plus we had some that wanted to spend the holiday with thier families at home, so they came down the day of the wedding (wedding was at 4:30) so that worked out too. It was hot, but not as hot as the summer months!

My brother got married in Puerto Aventuras, 2nd weekend of November in 2010, and the weather was spectacular. It was gorgeous.
