I ate! It was really relaxing and peaceful to have our sweetheart table. We were both really glad we decided to do that. I probably could have had seconds but I didn’t want to feel bloated, especially since our dance was right after dinner. We did have a few people come up to us while we ate but it was no big deal.

sort of – we had a sweetheart table so we were planning on eating the whole meal and had separate apps downstairs in a holding room… however we were 1.5 hours late to our own reception because our transportation didnt show up so everything ended up being rushed until the dancing started. soooo i ended up eating a few bites of my pork and all my potatoes and my cake. thats it. everyone kept coming up to our table to say hi so it was like *holding fork full of tasty food* “oh we are sooo happy for you!!! PICTURE!!!” (random aunt) *putting for down with a sigh untouched*
the venue though packed up two full dinners for us to take with us. we had our first “married” meal at home by ourselves it was glorious 🙂
however the whole passing out thing – yeah i collapsed after my photos, it was hot, i hadnt eaten since breakfast, and my blood sugar was low. thank GOD for the guy who was in the hotel lobby with a bag full of snacks im sure were meant for his toddlers. if it wasnt for his juicy juice and animal crackers i would have been a gonner.
my advise – have someone carry crackers and some juice or soda with you for after the ceremony so you eat SOMETHING in between before the reception.

I ate – but I didn’t make it a priority – we had a buffet so when I moved round and ate and talked!

I can’t imagine not eating at the reception….after all this time of dieting, I’d want to chow down!
