I hear ya.  I actually was glad it was over and had some time back for about the first month or so.  Then I had to figure out what to do with my time.  What did I use to do?  LOL Luckily for me hub’s sister is getting married so I can still get my wedding fix for a while.

Congrats! I look forward to photos.

I actually had really intense post-wedding depression and intensely threw myself into volleyball and social gatherings to deal with it. I ended up overbooking myself and was quite exhausted. I am starting to feel myself again thankfully enough.

@WillyNilly:  Exactly. It was my world for 18 months…now what? I am focused on the task of selling my wedding items now.

I literally laid on the couch for a week, so emotionally, physically and mentally exhausted from everything…and watched 4 seasons of Breaking Bad.

I of course fed the kids and did some work-but minimal.

Today I almst feel like myself now…and got back into housework, cooking real meals (not dialing for dinner)  πŸ™‚

Im happy Im not the only one!

@WillyNilly:  I 100% feel the opposite. I had a fabulous wedding, it was perfect. I’ve seen all my pictures from the photog already and they are beyond amazing. We just got home last night from an awesome honeymoon. I am SO GLAD the chaos is over. We had an 8 month engagement and I planned hard but now I can just sit back and be a married lady…its a great feeling!! Just enjoy your new life. πŸ™‚

Yes and no. I’m happy the chaos, the planning and the money drain are over but I still read wedding blogs and apparently I still comment on the Bee! We are now slowly making our way through the stack of Thank You cards and waiting for our photos to arrive.

Almost one year later, I’m still nursing some major wedding withdrawal.  πŸ˜› It’s why I’m still hanging around WB…

Right after our wedding last september, Darling Husband and I crashed.  We slept for like….2 days straight on our honeymoon before we could do any honeymooning.  πŸ˜›  We were really exhausted!  The wedding planning, the house buying…too much, too much.  But it was about a week into our honeymoon when it hit Darling Husband first….he missed our wedding!

My wedding withdrawal hit a week after that.  It was actually kind of tough to be on WB at the time, seeing people posting about wedding stuff just made me miss our wedding day.  But then our photos came and I just stared and stared at them. πŸ˜€

It’s a lot of emotions. But once it all kind of equalizes, it will all be beautiful memories in your heart and in your mind! (saptastic :D)
