We did an 8 month backpacking trip though Asia, then moved from Boston to San Francisco, bought a home, adopted a dog, and i’m currently in the best job i’ve ever had. We definitely stayed busy after the wedding!

@Mrs.Metalm:  I picked enjoying downtime!  Most all the others were already taken care of by the time we were married (sans babies).

@Mrs.Metalm:  By “finishing school” do you mean “charm school”? Just kidding.

After we married we focused on just being together and working together as a family. I have two stepsons so that took some geling on everyone’s part. We are getting there.

We’re getting kittens! Already finished multiple rounds of school, bought a house, and have pretty good if not perfect jobs…

Haha, we’re hoping to do pretty much everything on the list as soon as possible after the wedding!

We’re hoping to have the house sorted either just before or just after the wedding. Fiance doesn’t know it yet, but we’ll also get a pet around this time too 😉

I’m hoping to get a new job with a little extra pay (and actual maternity leave!).

Travel a little – just a cheap holiday somewhere new/different.

Baby making this time next year (current plan).

    Possibly more university.

    Enjoy downtime.

And we’re hoping to do most of that within the next year…so maybe not much downtime….

I guess “house” is next on the list.  We already have the house, but now it’s the improvement projects and adding storage, purging and organizing.

First is buying a house, second is landing my dream job, and third is having a baby. Hopefully the first starts soon and the last is next year at the earliest.

Next up for us is getting a house or new apartment that allows dogs so we can FINALLY get a puppy! We’ve wanted one for the last 5 years.

@Mrs.Metalm:  I see so much potential in your home..i love decorating especially DIY projects. When my SO and I started out we bought our first home and it wasnt all that great but did alot of renovating and in the end it turned out pretty sweet…now a few years later its our rental property and we look back and were so glad that we bought it. Good luck with your home Smile

    @Mrs.Metalm:  Love your house!

Our plans were for me to finish schooling and then finding a better job and then start looking at houses and then start a family, but apparently life had other plans and now we’re pregnant and looking at houses while I’m still at my current job and full time student.

    Oh life.

I selected two – adopting a pet and finishing (graduate) school.

We are planning to move less than a month after the wedding to a place that allows dogs. We’ve wanted one forever and are finally willing to move to make it happen.

It’ll take longer for me to finish grad school, as I just began this semester.

    After school… who knows!

Enjoy some time together without the stress of planning anything, whether that be a wedding, a baby, or anything else. I just want to enjoy being a Mrs. for a minute!
