- Wedding: September 2015
I have stalked the recaps section of the boards for many months. I’ve been in awe, more times than not about the beauty of the details, decorations, venues, etc.
I am so excited, that I can finally post my own!
I remember worrying about the weather, because the weekend before was cold and cloudy. I checked the weather every day a few times a day up until the day before! It ended up being beautiful and Sunny! It was literally the most perfect day. We were able to start decorating earlier in the day the day before, which helped a lot! The rehersal was quick and nice. Dinner was great, my Husband’s (!!!!!!!!!!) mom and my mom were in cohoots and put together a really sweet DVD video of us from babies all the way up. It was so beautiful, they ended up having it play at the cocktail hour!
I don’t think anything major went wrong in terms of the wedding. Mostly just a few bickering things or things I don’t really remember.. mostly because they weren’t worth it. The day was the second best day of my life (next to having our daughter). It was truly amazing, and it went by so fast. I wish I could re-live it and I can’t wait to see some of the video our photographer took!
Without further ado, here are some of the 300 photos we’ve already gotten back 🙂 **all photo cred to Bonita Buckley Photography** She is based out of Clarksville, TN.. if anyone in the area is looking for photographs.. she is very reasonably priced, amazing to work with, I could go on and on! I am so blessed to have had her as our photographer!
(sorry in advance if the photo’s are big)
*Don’t hate on my night gown shirt.. LOL. At this point, it was just barely after 8 AM. I didn’t even get to sleep until after 2:30. I had ordered a super cute Wifey shirt to get ready in.. it was to small. I re-ordered it and it was the right size.. well, I had ended up selling the shirt that fit me instead of selling the one that didn’t and couldn’t find the girls information to get ahold of her. It was a bummer.
The Details! One of my favorite parts was all the details of the Bride’s things, flowers, etc.
This was right after he saw me for the first time. His first words to me were “Babe, you are so beautiful.” He said I looked “Timeless” and he was crying before he even saw me. 🙂
My stud muffin of a Husband! <3
We were lucky enough to be able to take our pictures at/in the State Capital building in our town, (Springfield, IL) I love these photo’s and I can’t wait to see the rest that she captured!
First Look with my Dad.
Both of our Families..My nephew hated everything about his Tux.. boy was that fun.
I think my mom looks like a supermodel in this picture!
Although this was after nap time (I planned our day of pictures AROUND Nap time for this very reason..) she was super cranky and only wanted everyone but mommy and daddy. LOL.
As seen here, perfectly content with her Uncle…..
And then the time came.. It was time to commit my life to my best friend, soul mate, the peanut butter to my jelly, the forever to my always.. I wasn’t nervous.. I was excited, anxious.. it felt like everything was finally falling into place. I think the ceremony was one of my most favorite parts of the day. Hearing his vows to me literally made me cry. The sand ceremony was another of my favorite parts.
His favorite band is Phish (given my username). I had “Waste” Play during, it was a suprise up until just before the wedding.. his groomsmen who are also Phans talked about how awesome it was that we played that 🙂
YOU MAY KISS THE BRIDE!
We are finally Mr. and Mrs.! Now it’s time to party!
