My FH is the pastor of his church. Im having conflicting issues with my wedding reception. Will somebody please answer this question. Do anybody knownsic it’s bad to have the traditional first dance as a married couple? I thought about instead of a reception just having a sit down dinner and we go home. Any help is much appreciated

i wouldnt say its bad necessarily, but some churches frown upon all dancing, while some frown on secular dancing, and still others that only frown on more sexual dances, like grinding or the lambada. ask your fi what is his position on dancing and music, and go from there.

@Bris5665: I don’t see why you cannot have a first dance. Are pastors not allowed to dance. What does he think?

I find it kind of strange that you’re asking us though. If he feels uncomfortable dancing because of his pastor status, I would skip it.
