Hello all- I’m looking for some marryoke advice and tips….
Ok- so I only just discovered the concept of Marryoke last night- but I completely love the idea. Our friends and family would also be really up for it.
Has anyone had a marryoke for their wedding? Which song did you pick?
I think my Fiance will need some convincing as he is very shy…. any tips on how to do this?!
Finally we are getting married in Italy- were marryoke is not a known concept- I’m wondering how difficult it will be to explain it to our videographer… Did people use a marryoke company or try and DYI it?

I have no idea what marryoke is — do you sing together at your wedding like instead of a first dance??

No- a marryoke involved picking a song, and then during the day someone films all your guests (in different groups/ at different times) and the bride and groom mouthing the words to the song/dancing. They then edit all the footage together with the actual song as the track (sang by the actual artist- not your guests!) so you then have a “music video” of your wedding. the finish thing looks really fun- and a great memento to send to your guests.
They are becoming quite popular in the UK- you can find examples on youtube!

We had a Marryoke at our wedding (ours is the Nuala & Doug video). It was great craic, a brilliant ice breaker and I’d definitely recommend doing one and using the company we used http://www.marryokes.com. They‘ve even Marryoked One Direction!! Have a fab day whatever you decide to do x

I am a German videographer and have included the production of MARRYOKEs in my portfolio. Some samples you can watch on http://www.marryoke.eu
Your posting here is about 3 months old, so… have you found a producer already or should _I_ look into my appointment calender??
All the best
