@jagboo33: exactly!! sure is! I knew I wanted a chunky statement type necklace so I searched forever for the right one . I got a set that had matching necklace and bracelet but no earrings, how stupid is that?! no earrings, so I ordered 3 pairs of earrings to try from etsy and ebay.

it was so hard to figure out what would match and look good with the other jewelry from pictures online.  All i can say is TG the wedding spending is over!!  I got Quicken a few months ago to see where all my $ was going- it categorizes everything for you and most of my $$ was going to wedding expenses (jewelry, shoes, centerpieces, chair sashes etc)

I was wondering if there were any others out there. I found my Martina dress by chance but I knew right away  that I loved it. I was looking for a dress with no beading or lace, but still with some interest and drama. A little more than I wanted to spend but I am so lucky to have an amazing mother who truly wanted me to be happy and feel beautiful on my wedding day. I should also say this was one of the only designer that will alter something, I wanted a more modest neckline and the designer changed it at the time of ordering so I didn’t have to alter it afterwards. Here is the sample I tried on, #316…I ordered it with a less defined sweetheart neckline ( sorry about the sideways pic)

I just picked up my Martina Liana dress is $376! I’m so happy to hear that there are other ML brides out there.

@ Catalyst – Did your dress come with a sash? During the trunk show, I was informed that my dress came with a sash, but I didn’t like it. I opted to buy the Ali sash for an extra $400 dollars. I went to pick up my dress yesterday and they didn’t give me the Ali sash but I received the Demi sash instead. There was a whole mix up with the names. Then the bridal boutique said that the dress doesn’t come with any sash meanwhile my receipt clearly states that I was purchasing an extra sash which was the Ali.  The boutique tried to blame it on ML. I don’t know who was lying, but it just didn’t sit with me too well.

Love this thread. I just purchased dress 334. love love love it. I just need to decide on a sash, though it already comes with one. I really wish I had known about the option of changinig the neckline at time of ordering, I really want to change it to a sweetheart neckline, its a shame the bridal store didn’t mention that to me the day I purchased the dress.

@Catalyst – That gown looks absolutely GORGEOUS on  you!!! Is that the Stella sash? I bought the Stella sash since I didn’t like the sash the dress comes with, but it seriously looks like a car ran over it. The sequins are not properly aligned and this is a replacement sash. I know these sashes are not 100% perfect because they’re hand sewn, but I was wondering if you had the same problem.

btw, this is LizzieBean. I just can’t remember my password and I never received the p/w reset email from weddingbee.

@LizzieBeanie: Lizzie, I’m not sure what the name of the sash is-  I just looked through my pics, my photog didnt get any good close-ups of it.

If you arent happy w/ the sash, I would def take it back and have them replace it! I didnt have any quality issues with mine.

I’ve purchased 265! I’m so excited – I originally hoped for Ivory but this one just worked too well in champagne. I love it because it’s different – and because they are Australian designers! I got lucky and purchased an ex sample so it was way cheaper than what I could buy it for in Australia.
