Is $20k-25k your whole budget or just the budget for the venue?  If it’s just for the venue, there are some big ones in DC that could work- Reagan Building, Andrew Mellon Auditorium, Union Station, maybe The Powerhouse….

Is 25k your venue budget or whole wedding budget?  Formal or informal?  Outdoors or indoors?  Do you want to bring in your own caterer?

@wedding2014:  Michael’s 8th Avenue in Glen Burnie can accomodate up to 1000 people.  They can work with your budget, and the food is great!   We are paying about 7k for 150 people.

@wedding2014:  Would you consider the Eastern Shore?  The Milestone in Easton can seat 350 guests and would also fit your budget.
