perhaps, martin’s crosswinds in greenbelt? my cousin got married in fort washington last april and had their reception in greenbelt. i think there’s a marriott out in pg county too but i’ve never been to a wedding there.

if you have the money, the gaylord would be my top pick 🙂

I don’t know of any venues, but I just wanted to wish you luck.  I have the same budget for 75 guests in the DFW area. I wouldn’t want to treat 400 people on my budget here.

For what it’s worth, my venue will be just shy of $3000, and it includes tables, chairs, some accent lighting, a fully decorated chapel, and I can add on a linens package.

Love the tremont!!! But hotels are usually on the pricey side. For 400 guest and max 20k you’re looking at $40pp before tax & gratuity. If cutting you’re guest list isn’t an option I’d look into parks or places where you can use outside catering. The best thing to do is make phone calls get quick numbers that way.

@wedding2014:  oh! 400 people… i’m not really sure. i’m hosting a wedding for 70-80 people and the tremont and belvedere laughed at my number. they normally host parties for 300 people +

I would highly sugest martins crosswind or la fontaine bleu. Hotels are extremely expensive.

Try Michael’s 8th Avenue in Glen Burnie.  They have an outside garden area to get married in if you needed that, and the hall can accomodate up to 1000 people.  They have lighting, chair covers, wedding cake packages, they have EVERYTHING and it’s pretty close to BWI Airport and a lot of hotels in that general area.
