Firefly in a mason jar?! That’s SO cute!

I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a cricut cartridge with a mason jar…so I think you’re just out of luck there. However, there are places where you can rent other cutters and with most others, you can cut any image you’d like. Another alternative is to get your hands on a copy of SCAL 1 or 2. It is software that will allow you to cut things that aren’t on cartridges. The software is a pretty hard to find though since they stopped making it (provo craft sued them).

I don’t have any suggestions, but just wanted to let you know my Fiance is acomposer and is writing our first dance song which is about fireflies! If you’re interested, he is going to put it on iTunes and I can get you the link. I’m so excited to dance to it, and love that its not the standard thing you hear at every wedding.

I used the template from Wedding Chicks but I edited the colors a bit and then I cut them out…

Yes…that’s about how many we had…I came up with a sort of a “system”

I printed two jars per page and I’d stack two pages together, cut in half and cut two jars at a time…

It really didn’t take as long as I thought it would…Army Wives on the TV and a fiancee taking care of the kids and I was good to go 🙂

My original plan was to tie the raffia stuff around the lid, but after cutting all of those out..I said F it!
