I think they’re a small string of battery-powered led fairy lights.

You can buy Mason Jars at Walmart in August/Sept.  They are apparently a seasonal item for canning.  I think it’s about $5 for 12  that way you won’t have to pay shipping.

I know they aren’t the blue ones or vintage Ball…  alternatively, you could save your tomato sauce jars.  Reuse!

I’m planning to use some for my wedding centerpieces.  Anyone know what size would be best for a vase?  I bought quart-size and discovered they are wide-mouth… do you think those will work?

I am using them with battery tea lights for our pew hangers and then am tinting the rest blue for the reception centerpieces. YAY!!!!

Mason Jars will be alive and well in our spring wedding next March. Between the  the mason jar’s with Betta’s floating around, and then the mason’s for drinking we should be doing quite well.

I have a few cowboy boot type jars, and would love to find some more of them, however if not, regular mason jars will work just fine.

I SO agree with the blue mason jars! They will be my centerpieces as well, and I’ve had my future Mother-In-Law searching for them since shortly after we got engaged. Luckily, she lives in a small, remote town in North Dakota, where the huge trend of vintage blue jars has not yet caught on! She’s been able to pick them up at thrift stores and auction sales for dirt cheap… SO lucky to have her in my life! I saw the tutorial for dyed jars, and am now thinking of getting the super small canning jars and dyeing them peach as candle holders.

I am SO obsessed with mason jars.. I even created candle holders for my back porch in the summertime.. I filled them with deep blue sand, and citronella candles to keep the bugs at bay. THE perfect lighting option for a summer night.

I LOVE Mason Jars! My brother actually made some mason jar soap dispensers for their home and I fell in love. These pictures in this thread are beautiful – I’m thinking of going the mason jar with floating candle’s route for our tables. So elegant and lovely.

I LOVE the mason jar ideas too & my G-maw is a mason jar HOARDER…lol…so that is a big plus for me! We plan on using some in our Fall themed Wedding this coming October! This is a picture of an idea I seen on a wedding blog the other day. It is SO awesome & I have never seen this before! You take plain mason jars…you get a bunch of different glow sticks…then you cut the ends of the glow sticks & stick them down in the jar & splatter them everywhere & when they dry…they are light little glow in the dark jars!! I am using them at my wedding for little walk way lights….after our ceremony we will be going to another building next door for the reception & I am going to have these little glow in the dark jars lighting the way to the building!!
