We’re meeting with our coordinator for the first time next week, so I’m trying to pull together a board that shows everything I want the wedding to be. What do you think?

i like it! definitely never heard of a masquerade wedding before. its quite interesting.
Thanks!
I’m still trying to think of what works and what doesn’t. I’m especially still wondering about reception decorations. We want the wedding to be very formal – more of Venetian Carnivale, less Halloween. Do any of you have any other inspiration pictures or ideas for me? Especially for centerpieces?
This is great! The song “Masquerade” from Phantom of the Opera popped into my head; what if you watch that scene in the movie to get more ideas? And maybe use feathers: peacock or white/off-white? Can’t wait to see it all unfold!
@jess: If you look at the top middle of the inspiration board, it’s a picture of the “Masquerade” scene! Totally using that. And not just because I’m obsessed with that musical.
Feathers are good.
We’re doing a Masquerade wedding! The wedding itself is in a theatre and will be on-stage. The reception will have a masquerade/Phantom of the Opera feel to it.
I like your colors, ours are red and black. As the wedding party enters the reception, they have to enter via 2 flights of stairs and are coming down to “Masquerade” from Phantom. We made masks for each member of the wedding party.
FYI, here are the STD’s we did:
Our wedding wasn’t masquerade–it was peacock, but it had the Italian vibe you are after. If it wasn’t a morning wedding, I would have loved to up the drama with a masquerade aspect. Here are some photos!

So cool. I wanted a masquerade ball wedding so bad, and I wanted to have it right around Halloween but Fiance didn’t like the idea so we’re having a generic fall theme earlier in October. It’ll be nice but not nearly as awesome.
@MasqueradeMom: Very nice! I like them!
@Miss Damask: Wow! What a beautiful wedding! And I’m so jealous of you getting to bring a photographer with you for the honeymoon – what gorgeous shots! I am REALLY in love with your programs, though. Where did you get them done?
ooo can you provide masks as the favor for your guests? Pier One has some really cool ones (random, i know)
LOVE it!! The only problem is the Labyrinth picture is too small ;P
