@rubybride718:  I’ve always wanted to go to melting pot, just don’t want to spend a fortune! I won’t be picky though 🙂 whatever works for everyone!

Sept. 1 works for me! I’ve never been to the Melting Pot, but have always wanted to try it (I love fondue)! I think I heard it is a little pricey though. If not there, there are so many restaurants in the area (PF Changs, the Met Bar, Cheesecake Factory, Margaritas…).

Should we reschedule so more people can make it?

I’ll be out of town at a wedding on 9/1!

FYI, for those who asked about the Melting Pot, you are correct that it’s fondue.  There are several sections to the menu.  One is standard cheese fondue (yum!).  Then there’s an entree section…. you order uncooked meat/veggies/whatever, and they bring them to your table with this hot broth/oil/something like that.  You skewer things and cook them yourself at your table.  Then they have various chocolate fondues.

IMO, the cheese & chocolate fondues are totally worth it.  I wasn’t impressed with the “entrees”…. not that exciting and annoying to cook yourself (and pricey for what they are).  But the cheese/chocolate are awesome!
