Should the brides and maids flowers match? I have decided to DIY all of the flowers and am using carnations and I love them. However, my aunt just broke down crying and asked if she could buy me my bouquet. Should I tell her to get something like I am able to DIY or should I let her go all out like she is wanting?
The first picture is what I was going to do and the second picture is what she is thinking. (same exact colors in both pics)

Make your matching one as the one to toss, use the other in the wedding…

@future.mrs.campfield : That is an idea. Will it look stupid to have the fancy colorful bouquet though when my girls have the white carnation bouquets?

Absolutely not! Personally I would still use white carnations in your bouquet and then perhaps mix in some of your other colours? Use the flowers/colours you love!
I’d also make a toss bouquet of white carnations 🙂

I like the bride having a different boquet rather than matching. I say let your aunt buy you the boquet like she wants. It will look fantastic.

I actually prefer the look of a different bridal bouquet then the BMs’. My Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets were all white – roses and lilies. My bouquet had white lilies, red roses, and green hydrangea. They looked beautiful together!

i definitely like it better when the bride has a different bouquet. let her go all out! there’s only one time in your life when you get to carry a big bouquet!

I’m carrying an all purple bouquet where as my BMs are carrying a mostly all white bouquet. I wanna stand out from the girls. Plus my colored bouquet will pop against my white dress while my girl’s white bouquet will pop against their colored (purple) dresses!!
