(Closed) "Matching" family names

FWIW, DH has 5 brothers and none of them start with the same letter and his parents still go through the whole roster whenever they try to call his name lol

my brother is a junior and my name starts with the same letter as his, so we were 3/4 a matching family.

now, DH and I have the same first initial, which also happens to be our last initial too.. the writer in me likes the thought of all that alliteration, but but I don’t think we’ll try for it intentionally.

@cirk:  Definitely not on purpose! It’s hard enough finding names we both agree on without trying to match. DH is half Irish and our surname is Irish, so the names we choose will be Irish names, but that’s all we have planned so far.

Matching family names just reminds me of the Kardashians. I’m actually pleasantly surprised that their children don’t have K-names.. specifically Kim’s child.
