- Wedding: November 2018
In need of some advice/reassurance that I didn’t spend money on the wrong things 😂
For the wedding, we went the route of Etsy for all of our signage. Our colors are burgundy, navy, and gold (BMs in burgundy dresses, then navy and gold for the reception decor). Our floral will be done in varying shades of burgundy to give it that fall feel along with olive branches for the greenery (I’m Italian so it was a fun way to tie that in, plus my Maid/Matron of Honor is allergic to eucalyptus!). For the main signs, they are navy and gold, and the floral is included as displayed below in one of our actual signs…
This design serves as the main template (i.e welcome, choose a seat, bar, and instagram), however, since the table will feature a navy tablecloth along with the burgundy floral centerpieces, I used a different design for the escort cards and table numbers (shown below) so that it wouldn’t blend in amongst the table. The font is fairly similar, and it picks up the greenery that will be in the floral…
In my mind, this all coordinates. However, I’ve had one or two people say I should have stuck with the same theme for every single piece of stationery I print (in terms of signage). I know at the end of the day it’s my wedding haha, but I’m wondering you all think with a fresh set of eyes. I’ve been looking at these things way too much!!!!
